My sister was in the Heritage care Center for a few years. This past year has been very disheartening.  She was terribly neglected because she was afraid the staff would get in trouble if she complained about needing help. They do not hire enough staff to take care of the people properly. She didn't need as much help when she first went in but her condition deteriorated to the point she could no longer feed herself, turn herself over, or even scratch her own nose. We would have moved her months before her passing the first part of July but she wanted to stay so it would be easier for family to visit! We would have gone anywhere to visit just to get her out of that place! We had to take her food because the food was so terrible you couldn't even tell what it was most of the time! They couldn't even bother to stay and help her eat. They would give her a bite and come back 20/30 minutes later. The day she passed away they didn't even bother to call and let us know that she was having a bad day and that they had a hard time waking her up! They put her on oxygen and called the Dr but never called the family. I just happened to stop by  to visit and found out. Still nobody told me what was going on. I was there for a few hours and went home for a little while, my son went to see her after I left and called me and said she was unresponsive!! Still no call to let us know what was going on! My son had me talk to the nurse and he said then that the Dr wanted her to go to the hospital. She had requested a couple of weeks prior to that, that she not be sent to the hospital anymore. I told them I was on my way from Alpine to AF and would be there ASAP. I hung up and he called me right back and said to call family and tell them to come now if they wanted to say goodbye!! By the time I got there she had passed away. There was no time to call the rest of the family!

Over the phone you are given the impression this is a place with staff that cares.  Upon entering, you soon realize those feelings are quite off base.  Sadly, most of the elderly are invisible to need for a compassionate assistant.  Family members need to be there!!! Otherwise your elder will still be wearing the affects of having soiled depends until their scheduled shower two days later!  Insane!!!  They must be paying certain staff quite well!  Why else would someone work there?  Others.... You can tell it is simply a JOB.  You can be assured they are over medicating!  It's easier for them to have an elder slumped in a wheelchair chair than able to walk freely and care for their personal needs.  This race is one you are guaranteed to lose.  They will quickly have another bed available soon.  My father walked into Heritage on without any assistance for therapy.  Within 20 hours he became a wheelchair bound invalid.  Hire in home care.  You can at least keep an eye on the situation.

This place is awful and cared very poorly for one of my sweet patients while he had COVID. I would never recommend anyone trust their loved one in their care.

DON'T TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. While individual staff may be nice, this place only cares about the money they receive from housing covid patients. They take poor care of them and fight you when you want to take them to the hospital to get the care they should've gotten when they were there.

Mom was there because she was transferred after having Covid-19, she fell and I had to hear it from someone else in Herriman Beehive. What a bunch of unprofessionals! I’ll never head to this facility with Loved ones, are you kidding?

This place is a joke that does not have the staff or the ability to take care of people properly. My wife went therefore maybe two hours and almost died and had to be rushed back to the hospital

If they had the option to have zero stars that’s what I would have given them. They do not answer their phones and when they did and I was transferred to the nurses station they would just hang up. The care they gave my mom was horrible. When we had my mom discharged from there to be put someplace else. They just handed her discharge papers to my sister without going over them and handed her a bag with her belongings. My sister had to ask where was the suitcase was that my mom went in with . When going through the clothes to make sure all of moms things were in there . She found some other ladies clothes in the bag . When she asked for my moms clothes they said they didn’t know where they were. They took my sister to the laundry room where where she had to go through the dirty clothes to find some of my moms clothes we never did find all of her clothes. My mom had some other ladies shirt on that was two times too small for her. If you have a choice don’t put your loved ones in this place unless you don’t care about the way they are taken care of. Mind you we had no choice where our mom was put due to covid. Worst place I have ever seen.

Although when able to reach my mom, she said they are taking good care of her.... My complaint is since she has been there, extremely hard to talk to .om on the phone. This last week I've called 10 times, left numerous messages and still no response or call back, extremely disappointed. Not being able to get through on the phone for one, it rings and rings, and even when I have talked to the nurses desk I was hung up on.

I recovered from a fall in the shower here, that was severe enough to land me in the emergency room, then transferred to Heritage. I remember being thoroughly taken care of, and was able to do physical therapy to prepare me to take care of myself. The staff was courteous and thoughtful, I don't understand these negative comments, because I didn't experience anything like what I've read in some of these comments. The food was excellent also, this I know because it was me that was in there not a family member.

If there was an option for no stars they would get that! The level of care they offer is elderly abuse. My sweet elderly mother in law was there for less than 24 hours. They didn't offer her anything to drink. She was dehydrated when she left. They lost her prescriptions. The room they stuck her in was little better than a prison cell. No telephone, no television, no dresser or furniture of any kind. I would recommend this place to be shut down by the utah health department. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!!

Don't send your family here if at all possible. A lot of the staff is great but many policies and administration leave a lot to be desired. Stand up for your loved ones here. The good staff have been getting better jobs elsewhere. If you care even just a little about someone, DO NOT allow them to be sent here. The patient neglect is incomprehensible.

All the staff are amazing at Heritage. They go above and beyond for all the residents. I know times are tough with Covid right now and they are handling it so good. But even before Covid they never lacked attention to detail in the cares they provide. I am so grateful for ALL THE EMPLOYEES. Definitely a place you can take your loved one to, and know they are being taken care of. My Mom loves it here

I would give this place no stars. In the short time my loved one was there, no one knew anything about what was going on. We had 2 falls resulting in fractured hip. We had no one checking on blood sugar levels because no one read chart or something. not sure if laziness or just plain apathy. DO NOT put your loved one here unless you are OK to have the staff just let them deteriorate to die. When we asked questions about BASIC things like (walks to bathroom, dry mouth care, extra pillow, or any other simple thing) the response we got was "whatever the insurance will cover". So any BASIC human right to be helped to the bathroom or swabbed for dry mouth was unimaginable IF they couldn't bill the insurance. No one kept basic record of insulin checks, bowel movements, when he last got up to work muscle ANYTHING! What a disgrace.
