Staffing
We staff nurses, physical and occupational therapists, certified nursing assistants and other non-clinical support staff (housekeeping, dietary employees, maintenance, administration, etc.). The licensed staff, in addition to their scholastic training, have continuing education requirements each year and we perform annual competency checks for each role. We often conduct ad-hoc training throughout the year as the needs arise. We also have several doctors and practitioners who round on patients regularly.
Safety and Equipment
Our facility is equipped with various safety devices including a call light system, adaptive equipment for ambulation, transfers, personal hygiene, eating, and fall protection equipment.
Social Services
We staff 3 full time employees in our Social Services department to help in the process of patients transitioning home or into another care facility if needed.
Nutrition Services
We have a full time, on-site dietician and robust kitchen staff to meet all modified diet orders and almost every diet request.
Cost of Living
The cost of living varies based on the level of care required.
Individualized Care Plans
We create an individualized care plan for each patient/resident that includes a communication plan on how the patient/resident would prefer us to communicate with loved ones outside of the facility.
Respite Stays
We do offer respite stays in both our assisted living facility and our skilled nursing facility. Typically a respite stay in our assisted living facility is $185/day and in our skilled nursing facility the cost is $325/day.
Pet-Friendly Policy
We are a pet-friendly facility. We only ask that all pets be fully vaccinated and it is the responsibility of the patient or visitor to be able to care for the pet while in the facility.
Availability and Wait List
We do have a wait list for our assisted living facility. However, our skilled nursing facility generally has availability daily as we have patients who graduate daily and go home.
