Compared to other facilities, it ranks in the dismal bottom 20% due to its low overall rating, which is also inferior to the state average. Furthermore, its health inspection rating, another crucial criteria, fares no better - the home was assigned just 1 star, placing it in the bottom 10% compared to other nursing homes. The health inspection rating also falls short of the state average. With a quality rating that places it in the bottom 40% among similar facilities, the quality of the nursing home is only slightly below the state average, leaving much room for improvement. Offering a scant 1.67 nursing aid staffing hours per resident per day, it ranks in the bottom 20% among all care facilities, as opposed to the state's average of 1.94 hours. However, the center compensates by offering excellent LPN services, allotting 1.11 staffing hours per resident per day, which surpasses the state's average of 1.02 hours and places it in the top 30% of care facilities. Notwithstanding, it falls short in RN staffing, providing 0.33 hours per resident daily, trailing behind the state's average of 0.6 hours, resulting in a position in the bottom 20% of facilities. Then again, with regards to licensed staffing hours per resident per day, the center manages to secure a respectable position in the top half of facilities, providing 1.45 hours, although it's still less than the state's average of 1.62 hours. In terms of staff vaccination, the situation doesn't improve much as the home falls within the lowest 30% of facilities. The staff vaccination rate stands at a worrying 5.2%, significantly lower than the state average of 25.9%. In both categories, the nursing home's vaccination rates are profoundly concerning.

    Quality Measures

However, the nursing home unfortunately finds itself in the bottom half of facilities in terms of residents with a catheter inserted and left in the bladder. I rarely write reviews, but my mother has been here and it has been a disaster. They daily screw up her medications. Staff leave her dirty in the bed for hours. I know times are tough finding help, but its simply dangerous to mix up medications. I'm shocked something more serious hasn't happened.

I currently visit 3 residents at HHRC (and their roommates). They are usually content and appear well cared for. They seem to have good relationships with the staff and their roommates .

My father was sent for ulcers on December 1 to give him antibiotics. Today 11 I get to see him and I look at my father if he can breathe well, I call the nurse who noticed that his air was very low. and I ask you to call an ambulance. He was taken to the hospital, which at the moment my father is intubated with pneumonia in the intensive care area. the place is poorly hygienic and understaffed for so many patients. If he wants his relative, don't send him to this place. (I went almost daily yesterday he was fine)

The staff is bar none the greatest. The only thing keeping me from giving a 5 star rating is the food could be a little better but, it is acceptable especially the ala carte items. And, the furniture could be updated and they need to hire some more housekeepers. Don't get me misunderstood; it is clean, just not 5 stars clean. But, all that is easily overlooked with the wonderful staff! From aides, nurses and, administrators are all 'real' and happy to be there and caring for their residents. 🧡

Friendly staff. My Dad has been here a few days, the PT Pat is wonderful, she always updates me on my Dad's progress as soon as I walk in. But if you call and ask for updates about someone you are an inconvenience to them. Judy (on South) can be very rude when you request an update on the health of a family member.

If you love your family member and they need any care at all, this is not the place for you!!! The aides and nurses are caring, they are severely understaffed!! The on call physicians would rather keep a person that is clearly in need of a hospital in the their facility to earn a few dollars!! If I could rate our experience lower, I would!! Do not take the people you love to this facility!!!
