Harmony at Westcott Plantation is a great place for assisted living and a retirement community on all levels that you need. I have been impressed every time that I have visited with the overall quality of the facility and all of the caring individuals involved. Harmony has it all and everything needed to have an excellent living and care situation.

These.people.are.amazing. Professionals, yes, but also warm, caring human beings. The team at Harmony helped my family through my dad's extremely difficult and often dramatic transition to Memory Care. I can't say enough about the way they supported us through the process. I am so grateful!

Harmony was a wonderful experience for my mother, Paula Stabenau. She loved all the wonderful people working there. The front desk staff, Evelyn, Terri. Maggie, Cassandra, Dee. She was very fond of all staff and was enjoying getting to know the new director Kaley Patterson. Thanks for all your kindness to our mother and to us the past week. Made a hard time a little easier.

I love Harmony and the staff! First off it's like walking into a hotel. The facility is beautiful. The staff is so nice and helpful. I moved my dad into the memory care ward and they took such good care of him. The staff was very attentive and helped with whatever he needed. His room was great. He had a private room but shared a bathroom with another resident. The bathroom was nicer than mine at home! Dad wanted for nothing.

There needs to be a medic bracelet that reads, "Must be treated with DIGNITY." Memory care patients are "hauled around, with "therapists" conversing over them & not talking to them. In other words, MY MOM is not asked to step on a scale to get weighed (which she would gladly do AND STILL HAS THE WHEREWITHAL TO DO SO, but has to listen to the conversation of last night life of the help.MEANWHILE THEY TRY TO PRY HER FINGERS FROM THE BARS I WHEELCHAIR WITHOUT EXPLAINATON! All she wants is to not have hands put on her, without explanation. It's still within her power to understand if asked. When Dad asked questions about what was happening, "he's being punished" and no longer allowed to see as much of Mom.

I’m posting this because I would want to know this information if I were looking for a place for my mom again. My mom lived at Harmony assisted living for over 3 years. We have since moved her to very nice facility and am so glad we have left Harmony. My mom recently contracted Covid from an employee at Harmony and became dangerously ill. She spent 11 days in the Covid unit at the hospital. Currently Harmony has no director or head nurses as all 3 have given notice and have left or soon to. The care has been declining over the past 2 years as the rent has increased by extreme amounts. The food has gotten terrible. Mechanical soft options were never available for my mom as she struggled chewing hard foods. There are only a few CNAs that care and work hard with the majority taking advantage of the poor leadership by the lead nurse of memory care or assisted living. Activities do not work for AL residents because they actually mix the Independent residents with the AL during activities even though the IL are free to come and go from the building during the pandemic.Buyer beware! Don’t send your loved one to this property until they get someone in there to turn it around. I feel bad for the residents who still live there. Many like my mom have left. They want to charge super high prices for poor care

Some caregivers and some med techs do not give the proper care to these residents. Residents are left overnight in SOILED depends and bedding. Med techs are not charting when there are problems with the residents, and their upper management does little to fix any of these problems

I can never get anyone on the phone concerning my Dads care . When I go up there, they are always in a meeting. They say they will get back to you but they never do. The billing gets messed up and I feel like no one cares. When my Dad first moved in it was great and I really felt the employees there cared about him but in the 7 months that he has been there, new people are there and it has lost the quality of care it once had. I am pulling my Dad out of this facility due to a move out of state but the way things have been going for the last few months I would have done in anyways.

These are the people “caring” for your loved ones. They sleep. And have no issue demanding that they can do it. The DON, allows them to sleep.
