Everyone here at Hartcourt  are absolutely amazing!! My father was transferred here from another facility about a month ago and everyone t here  has been great! I was a little weary when I read there reviews, and my dad had already been transferred there when I found out . I live many states away from there so  I got on a plane the next day and flew out there without anyone knowing I was  on my way and made a surprise visit first off, so I could see what it was like without them knowing or being able to  prepare for my visit. I had to see for my self what this place was like. Obviously I had no say in where he was going to be placed so I had to see for my self since there were so many bad reviews. Well I'm sure glad I did, I  see why people say you can't always believe what you read ! This place is really amazing, they go the extra mile in all they do! My dad loves everyone there and so do I ! My dad unfortunately has dementia and is struggling with so much every day that it was important that he be somewhere that is beneficial for him and a place that would actually care and interact with him. I love my Dad more than anything and I will make sure that he is somewhere safe and cared for. Everyone there is so kind, caring and wonderful ! I just wanted to give a shout of positive input for Hartcourt Terrace and all the employees that work so hard taking care of our loved ones!!!! So thanks to all of you , great job and I will see you in a few months when I come to visit . Such a relief knowing what a great job your doing!  Melissa ( Reno)

Terrible place to put your Love ones  ... the office staff and the woman who sits at the front desk in the AM hours attitude is nasty and terrible she don't even greet the the people that walk in the door.. the nurses attitude are terrible and they get up-set when you ask about your Love ones the CNAs are over worked and can't give the level of care they need to give  to your Love ones..

Harcourt Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation (Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County,  Eagle Care LLC, and American Senior Communities)  Conservatively, this facility profits in excess of 5 MILLION annually.  Harcourt Terrace has received Civil Money Penalties from STATE Surveyors so far in 2016 of $79,950.00 (March 1, 2016 thru July 1, 2016 or 123 consecutive days at $650 per day until deemed compliant on 7/1) not including DENIAL OF PAYMENT from CMS (Medicare/Medicaid) during this same period - hardly a slap of the hand in the big scheme of things. The BIG three hospitals (case managers, discharge planners and social workers) seem to avoid Harcourt Terrace.  Company Consultants have openly stated that Harcourt Terrace inherently is a difficult and troubled facility. GODSPEED to the residents, families and the caring staff members who so diligently continue to care.

This place is the most unimaginable place you could end up at. I think being hostage for Isis you would be treated better. The staff has high turnover , low paid , undertrained.  They leave their patients unattended.  They ignore fire alarms.  If you have a loved one and you are thinking about placing him or her there, beware. You might as well let them stay at dr kevorkians home. Better and more palatable treatment.

Residents seem to be content there. Complaints from my spouse about some of the food but who doesn't if it something they don't like. Medical staff is very open with me about my spouse and all that they do and what he does. Very good communication with staff and my loved one.

This place is horrible.. please don’t send your love ones here.. the staff is hard working but the management is horrible. The unit manager is rude, arrogant and disrespectful towards her staff. They cover up to many stuff. They have a male cottage full of sexual predators who harass the staff and other men.. staff reports things but nothing happens... employees are beaten by the residents but management will say the deserve it.. please stay away

I must say that this facility has made remarkable improvements over the last few years. Staff is very hard working and caring. Even on the busiest days, things get taken care of. New menu and fine dining have residents happy! Front lobby is always updated with seasonal celebrations. Expectations are high with the staff and families. I love it and I think I always will..

Be careful if you pick this place! The place is filthy, and my family member's room mate was laying in her own feces and piss for a whole day! They were asked to assist the person on several occasions and declined to do so.Also, make sure you stay up to date with the medications they give out. They charged my family member almost $2,000 for medication that the insurance said they'd no longer pay on, and the idiots kept giving it to them without saying a word. They finally said they'd pay for it, but we've tried getting the paperwork from them for 2 months now, and they are dodging big time!

I placed my mother here, unaware of the condition that would follow, The day we went the health Department was there and things was well with the office personnel. First day the food was Great I thought the reviews was a lie. We met with the staff and we all talked about the care and their expectations of us and of them. we ask for milk and banana each morning we would supply the rest each morning they would send AWFUL OATMEAL, or rubbery eggs, 1 meal with noodles and bratwurst the noddle's was swimming in grease and I couldn't cut the brat with a knife, the salad was soft and mushy with dressing. Why are you feeding your residents like this,The dietician should be made to eat 3 days of meal that his staff serve the resident's. we have seen the employees order out and the resident's order pizza,(the food is too bad to eat). We was having to bring lunch or dinner to ensure she had a decent meal and on most evening a Milkshake to fill her stomach so she won't get hungry be prepared to spend $5-10 a day for short rehab. we should bill you for reimbursement of the meals, Then once the staff found out we was removing her they bought her 1 evening snack . 2nd day there was snack bowls with fruit and graham cracker sitting in various places the nursing advise us they was for the residents all a show for the Health inspector . We had to make threats of sign her out to take her home to give her a shower, the LPN told us to our face she didn't need her medicine on the weekend. The orders on her medication is every day.1 DAY I sat in my mother's room for several hours with the doors close NO-ONE came in to see if she was okay, laying in the floor, if she needed anything, just to check on her Nothing ! We have heard the room signals just buzz and the staff is sitting @ the desk talking, Don't be fooled by the first set of room 1-10, take a tour on both wings and see and smell the rooms, Sometimes situations in life require you to be in a situation were you have to use this place.. always go 3 x times a day, have a back-up crew to make visit also other watchful eyes, They will be hungry the food is not worthy of feeding a dog it's last supper, Cobb salad on a Hot plate, Gravy on everything everyday, Broccoli cooked until it's BROWN, A simple menu of everyday food would be fine. We gave them 3 day notices we would be removing her the place. No one helped her pack her things, the social worker didn't have any of the paperwork ready or her medications as promise, Come on Harcourt Terrace caregiver your resident should be treated with a better respect with CARE, RESPECT,HUMILITY one day you will be in the same situation. Maybe they don't have a choice or a voice for them self but don't treat them so bad. The insurance company should be notified of your care level and stop paying the bills and see how much you will care for your resident change when the paycheck stop. Kudos the physical therapy staff and the ladies with activities' with them trying to keep your residents happy. I HOPE if you use this place please do you homework and go the extra mile to take care of your family member while a resident at this place.

I cannot describe how wonderful this place is and how comfortable my loved one is with the staff. My family was very nervous about moving my grandmother into a home, but we cannot be more happy with the place we chose. Harcourt Terrace has gone above and beyond to make this experience a great one and I would be more than happy to live there when it comes my time. Thank you!

Harcourt Terrace provides excellent nursing and rehabilitation care. I have seen residents come in completely debilitated and walk out! Harcourt Terrace staff are there to serve and you can feel the love and compassion. The building is clean and care is patient centered. I trusted them with the care of my Aunt and they are doing an exceptional job.

I can not begin to give enough accolades and praise about this amazing nursing and rehabilitation center. My 85 year old mother who has Alzheimer’s came there in a wheelchair after having an appendectomy. Not only has she recovered from the surgery, she is thriving. She transitioned from the rehabilitation phase and went directly into their memory care unit. This is important because she did not have to be moved to another facility and have to get re-familiarized with a new location and staff which is detrimental to someone living with Alzheimer’s. The staff there from the administrative staff particularly Sherrita to the Nursing staff specifically Courtney, and the Executive Director Jesse are the most compassionate and caring group of individuals you will ever meet, They literally and I mean LITERALLY treat my mother like she is a family member. I highly recommend and endorse this facility to anyone seeking a Nursing and Rehabilitation home that will treat your love one with the dignity and respect that they so aptly deserve.

Having previous experience in a nursing/rehab facility, I was not eager in the least bit to visit that experience again. I came here on 6/13/18 and after just 4 days I was able to say I would recommend Harcourt Terrace to others. I would trust them to care for my mother. I've been given nothing but respect and the best of care a person should get.

A nursing and rehabilitation placement must have a great supervision over there staff meaning checking their performance everyday never let up on what your staff is doing so far so good I take it a day at a time I checked on Mom everyday and follow their rules as close as possible I would recommend hardcourt Terrace . The facility is clean and neet the staff checks on Mom regularly they are kind and friendly listen to what your concerns and needs are there is a doctor on staff plus a licensed practitioner I see teamwork people working together we need more volunteers to come in like church groups our seniors lose so much when we are placed in nursing homes and rehabilitation centers we need to see about them

I'll not EVER step foot in this hell hole again. All they do is cover up employee wrong doings when they are reported and proved, then cause problems and fire the person who did the right thing and reported an incident.. I would suggest that if you are considering this facility for your family member that you choose another facility for sure. Also otehr things that make this a bad facility, but we won't go there.
