This detailed pricing information was obtained directly from the Communications Director at Hanover Hill Health Care Center via email on Feb. 2, 2024.
Rates and Billing
Intermediate Level of Care $471* per day
Skilled Unit $514* per day
Memory Care Unit $492* per day
These rates include the following:
- Room, board and general nursing care
- Therapeutic diets as ordered by the physician
- Recreational Activities Program
- Dental Program
- Linens and Bedding
- Personal Laundry Services
All other services such as rehabilitative, medical supplies and adult briefs are not included in the daily rate and are billed separately. Physician, Laboratory, Pharmacy and other ancillary services are billed by the provider directly to the resident or responsible party.
A first month's payment and security deposit (held in escrow with interest) is required upon an Intermediate and Special Care Unit admission or a transfer from the Skilled Care Unit.
We accept payment under Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, Blue Cross and private insurance. In addition, we have contracts for services rendered to managed care clients with CIGNA, Anthem and Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare Plans.
*Based on current rates. Rates are subject to revision. The resident or responsible party will be notified 30 days prior to any rate adjustment.
Bed Hold:
Residents will be allowed to hold their bed at our current rate if they are discharged from the facility. Residents and/or Responsible Party are informed of this policy and procedure at time of admission and when possible, at time of discharge.
Billing Period:
Statements are rendered on a monthly basis. All payments are made in advance and are due within 10 days of the billing date. A finance charge of 1.75% will be made on past due accounts of 30 days.
Refund:
Any deposit and unused portion of payment for room and board will be refunded within 30 days of discharge.
Payment Options:
Bills may be paid by mail or in person. Bills being paid in person should be brought to the Reception Desk which is open daily from 8:00am-8:00pm. Any questions or inquiries regarding the statement should be directed to the Business Office during normal working hours.
