More than a place to call home, Good Samaritan Retirement Center is a lively, spirited community known for our beautiful grounds, rich cultural life and exciting comprehensive programs covering all aspects of physical, social, spiritual and emotional well-being. Our diverse community of residents lead active physical and intellectual lives and are supported by an extraordinary staff.
Established in 2000 by Mother Superior Bernard Ibrahim of the Chaldean Sisters Daughters of Mary Immaculate Conception, this community is a freestanding, not-for-profit senior residential independent/assisted living community nestled in the hills of Rancho San Diego, open to seniors 65+ of any denomination or background. With our wonderful caregivers, medical technicians, and a Licensed Vocational Nurse on staff we are more than happy to offer assistance with administration of medications, assist with the activities of daily living, perform wellness checks, communicate with physicians, and attend to health concerns that may arise as well as supporting each of our residents to lead fulfilling social lives. Working closely with residents, families, and physicians, we develop a personal plan of care for each resident’s needs, abilities, and with a wealth of experienced professionals. Our residents also enjoy an exciting variety of activities scheduled daily, freshly prepared meals by our talented Chefs, an onsite salon (open once weekly), and daily Mass in our on-site chapel for those who wish to attend.
