This active adult community offers Assisted Living, Health Care and 2 different levels of memory/dementia care. They can truly meet all of your later life needs. Most of the caring staff have been working here over 20years. The dining experience is fantastic, food is truly amazing. The Executive Director is involved and engaging, easy to talk to. The staff all know my mother by name and take great care of her. I know we made the right choice for our mom.
ELITE Senior Adviser is a referral partner with Foulk Manor South. We know first hand the services they provide and the different levels of care they assist with when providing care to patients. What is impressive about this community among many things- they provide great care, multiple levels of care and do it with love and high level of professionalism. When a client needs intermediate healthcare/skilled nursing this community is first thought of. Thank you Foulk Manor South for the care you provide in the community.
My grandmother has been a resident at Foulk Manor South for almost three years now. In my first visit to Foulk Manor South, as I was researching assisted living options, the warm and friendly staff, the beautiful courtyard and living areas, and their commitment to care made a lasting impression on me. After moving Grandma in, the feeling of being a part of the Foulk Manor South family grew quickly for both of us. For my Grandma, even though she can't remember the names of the staff who assist her daily, she recognizes their smiling faces and is comfortable in their care. For me, I am so very thankful to have Foulk Manor South on my team, working with me to provide the best care for Grandma as her needs change. Over the past year, Grandma made the transition from assisted living into Memory Care and the management and staff have been super accessible and willing to address all of my concerns or questions. I've seen first hand that the leadership of the management team is strong, positive and committed to providing the best care and community for their residents. Thank you Foulk Manor South!
My mom has lived at Foulk Manor South for three years now. I could not be happier! The staff, is amazing! They show compassion and treat my mom like a member of their family. The new Executive Director is so attentive and implements so many new and exciting things in the community. My mom had been at a different community previous to moving here and theres no comparison. If you are thinking of moving a family member, I urge you to stop by . You will be happy you did.
My sister and I moved our mother into Foulk Manor South almost one year ago.We bought all the staff lunch one day because we haven’t seen Mom this happy in a long time. The entire management team and all of the staff : housekeeping, care staff , nursing, kitchen and activities have been so kind, so caring and so attentive my mother has flourished since moving in. We both know we have been blessed finding this community and find everything about the community to be above a five star. Excellence and high standards!
My dad has been in two sections of Foulk Manor South. Thankfully Foulk Manor South has two different neighborhoods for residents with ALZ/Dementia. The nurses and staff in both areas are always pleasant and wonderful to him. The facility has been very versatile in meeting Dad's medical needs. They also have a van that can take Dad to appointments. This has been a blessing since Dad has been in a wheelchair. The van driver is very friendly, patient and accommodating.Dad can take part in plenty of the on-site activities. They also schedule off site activities as well. There is always something going on to keep him busy.A special THANK YOU to everyone that has helped Dad over the years!
Our experience at Foulk Manor South has been wonderful.Choosing an assisted living facility is not an easy task. Joe Giffin, Director of Community Relations, went above and beyond from day one of our search. Joe continues to help meet all our needs as my mother has been a resident for three months now. I cannot praise Joe enough. He is a true gem.Mary McMullen, the head nurse, is smart, patient, and always available to answer questions. Her constant communication with our family is invaluable.Angel, a nurse, is a bright light who puts a smile on my mother's face with each engagement. Angel creates a happy, safe, and clean environment.Tanika, dining room server, is another special lady. Tanika's uplifting interaction with each and every resident is infectious. She treats each resident with respect and kindness.Pearl, the Activities Director, is another favorite of my mother's. Although I have not had the pleasure of meeting Pearl, my mother tells me Pearl is a wonderful, caring lady.Every time we enter the facility, we are nicely greeted by the front desk staff. Every time I call to speak with a nurse, the front desk staff is kind and efficient. I have had the most interactions with Virginia. Virginia could not be more caring to my mother and our entire family.Foulk Manor South is clean, serves healthy and tasty meals, provides many activities for residents, caring, and conscientious. When choosing an assisted living facility for your loved one, Foulk Manor South should be at the top of your list.
We looked at the many local options. What attracted us to Foulk Manor South initially was the apparent quality of the staff, the fresh pleasant atmosphere inside the facility, and the spacious secure outside walking space. After visiting twice and then bringing my mother in for a third time, I was amazed every time I went. Mom has been there for almost a year now and it brings me tears of joy to see how happy she is again. I am forever grateful that Foulk Manor South has been able to establish that meaningful and purposeful life out of my mother again.
my father was a resident of another Assisted Living facility, where his needs were neglected and his health declined. I moved him to Foulk Manor South and my family and I are so pleased! He is a different man. He is clean, shaven daily , well-dressed and groomed, and treated only with dignity and respect. He loves the food and all the attention he receives. The staff treat him with compassion and affection. He loves it there!
Foulk Manor is a great place if you want professional and loving care for your love ones this is a go to place the facility is very clean and the meals are very nutritious and well put together I have had the opportunity as a pastor to visit this facility on several occasions. The staff down to the custodians a very polite and professional the nursing team is second to none security at this facility is on pointB. Ivan Broomer
It's never easy knowing your loved one needs 24/7 care. Deciding the best place for that care is almost as difficult. My brother and I are pleased that we placed our mom at Foulk Manor South. The staff was so caring, smiling, and giving every time we saw them interact with our mom and with the other patients. And patience is needed often with patients who are suffering from a long-term illness, dementia, memory problems. We saw patience, humor, and generosity in our mom's care. Our only complaint is that when it came time to need a Medicaid bed, FMS had none available to continue her care with them.
My father was in a few different rehab/long term care facilities over the last few years. Foulk Manor South was by far our favorite. The facility is small and there is a real sense of community. The staff is warm and friendly and really cares about the patients and families. We weren't there for long but our experience was wonderful.
I am so happy to have found Foulk Manor South. Out of all of the communities I visited, this was by far the best! Upon meeting Joe Giffin I knew this was the place for my loved one. He was knowledgeable, patient, kind and most helpful. Once we moved him in, the service and team never disappointed. I recommend this community highly!
The community relations director Joe was extremely courteous from the beginning, he was knowledgeable of all service lines foulk manor south offers. My siblings and myself have visited four other facilities. As it is a very hard decision to place your loved one in a new home, we toured Foulk Manor South twice. Both times we felt the same way. All the staff were very welcoming. The facility was clean and most importantly it was nice to see all the residents engaging with each other. My mother has been there now for six months. My family and myself could not be more pleased with our decision to pick Foulk Manor South as my mother's new home. If you are looking for an assisted living, memory care or nursing I would highly recommend Foulk Manor South.
