Community Features and Policies
We do not currently have a waitlist unless there is a particular apartment size that you only want.
Staff and Training
We have a Chef with a 2-year degree from Johnson and Wells. Our Director of Nursing is an RN. We have 4 CNAs on staff. All employees go through orientation upon onboarding and receive training throughout the year on safety and emergency protocols. All employees undergo a background check.
Security Measures
All of the doors are locked day and night except for the front door, which is locked around 6-6:30 PM. There is a punch code entrance for the assisted living side and a keyed entrance for the independent side (only residents, employees, and family have keys). All visitors must sign in and out at the front desk.
Resident Transition and Lifestyle
I would help the resident’s transition into the community as well as our Lifestyle 360 program, which includes activities for the residents that feature a welcome committee and “New Friends” group. They like to make sure each new resident has a “buddy” for any questions and to help them get to know the community.
Transportation Services
We offer transportation services. We ask the residents to give the concierge a 24-hour notice for local trips and 1-week notice for any appointments.
Dining Services
We have two dining rooms and all 3 meals are provided in your base rent. Breakfast is available between 6:45 and 8:30, lunch at 11 for Assisted Dining Room and 12 for Independent, dinner at 4:30 for Assisted Dining and 5:30 for Independent. There is a $5 tray service fee for meal delivery, free to take out. The menu usually includes one or two “entrees of the day” for lunch and dinner, as well as sides and desserts. There is also an “anytime menu” that includes items such as cobb salad, omelet, hamburgers, etc.
Grievance Policy
There is a grievance policy through our Executive Director as well as a corporate “Gold Star” phone line.
Costs and Communication
Please see the rate sheet in the brochure for starting costs for different units. We speak only to the POA unless specified for family communication.
Residency Terms
We no longer offer respite or short-term stays. We are a pet-friendly community as long as the pet is under 25 pounds (one-time pet fee of $750).
Health Services
We offer Covid vaccines in the community twice a year and Flu vaccines once a year.
Aging in Place
We encourage our residents to age in place. We do not currently have a waitlist unless there is a particular apartment size that you only want.
