I have visited Fellowship Home as a hospice chaplain for 9 years, and have always been impressed by the wonderful care provided to residents by the faithful and diligent staff. Now my own parents are residents there, and they are both very content. The staff communicate very well with family, and we could not be more pleased. We are deeply grateful for the caring staff and management.
My husband's grandfather was a resident at Fellowship Home at Brookside until he passed. The care he received at Fellowship home and the staff that provided his care were better than we could have ever asked for. We were always treated with respect and always informed of any changes, challenges or events that had taken place. The facility is beautifully decorated and we always felt welcomed during our stay. The staff became like family and we are thankful for them to this day. We always felt good when we left from our visits because we knew he was enjoying his stay and was loved and cared for like his family loved and cared for him.
Fellowship Home at Brookside is everything our family could ask for in quality assisted senior living. I struggled with decisions I didn't know existed until experiencing this with my mother. Having a group of professional to help with those decisions was priceless. Looking back, I know it was the right decision for my mother to be at Brookside verses trying to live at home. Fellowship Home is staffed and built with Senior living in mind. From the caring staff to the well appointed living facilities, dining area, and grounds, we have been pleased. I had know Sheryl Jackson, Director of Willow Wood, for years before my mother moved there and I though we were getting special attention. After being around Fellowship Home for a while, I saw that Sheryl gives everybody there special attention.
My wife and I had to move in with my Dad in January 2020, due to his health declining and having some depression and slight dementia. He had outlived three women that he loved over a span of about 67 years, and was lonely. My sister and I tried to get him to move into several assisted living in our community but he insisted on staying in his home and requesting my wife and I to move in with him. Looking back it was a Godsend because I got to spend 14 months with my Dad every day of his life, loving him and taking care of him, until I worried about his safety at home. That’s win George LaHood and John LaHood reached out to allow me to move him in to Willow Wood at Fellowship Home. I already knew how good and compassionate and caring the staff were but after observing hour after hour over a week and a half span of time I really came to appreciate all the caring and compassion that they showed my Dad until his last breath. I can’t thank The Fellowship Family enough for that precious time! GOD’S LOVE!!🙏💜
This place has allowed a new tenant that is healthy and has only been ther less than 3 weeks and has now contracted covid -19 from this place. Vaccines are available. Why has this group of people not been vaccinated? This place is not what they say they are and most certainly do not protect the elderly.
