ECC is a skilled nursing facility for children in Newark, Delaware that provides transitional, long term and palliative care to medically fragile and technology dependent children who are between the ages of birth and 21 years old. ECC is the only facility of its kind in Delaware and one of very few in this country. This top-100 ranked nursing home in the United States takes great pride in caring for very inspiring residents and providing them with as normal a childhood as possible despite their medical challenges.

Rehabilitation

At Exceptional Care for Children, our talented therapy team provides top-notch care that ensures each child is seen as more than just their medical needs or disability. Our team of therapy professionals work together to provide a play-based, multidisciplinary treatment plan that will help each individual child reach his or her full potential. The children are given the opportunity to enhance their ability to communicate, improve motor function, and develop life skills through comprehensive evaluations, one on one sessions, and group treatments.
