Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
Yes, but it’s for our prospects that are interested in respite. We do have open apartments available 😊
Could you share pricing and any other general information?
I’ve attached our packet for you to view.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
We have staff in Culinary, Maintenance, Nursing, Marketing, and Activities + Our admin. We go through and extensive ADL training, care practice training, administrative training, dementia training, CPR and adult abuse. And pending the qualifications of our Residents Assistance, they might have additional such as medication management and such.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
This one is better explained during a tour as most of our safety measures are visual during your tour. We offer visual checks, we conduct fire and tornado drills, elopement drills, etc. with our staff monthly too.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
Yes, these are through our Life Enrichment program to ensure a great transition as people move to a community.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Yes, for medical – it’s included. We also include from time-to-time transportation through our activity schedule (scenic bus rides, field trips, and store shopping).
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Long story short – restaurant style dining 😊 When we schedule your tour, I highly recommend staying for lunch so you can experience it yourself.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
Pending on the theme of the complaint, they would talk to a staff member within that department so the issue can go through the chain of command, and we can get it fixed right away.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
Residents have specific family members they want information shared with or not and we have that information in their file so if something happens, we are able to contact the right person. When you join Emery Place, you become family and it’s quite easy to communicate with the staff.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
Yes, Assisted Living $200 daily, 7-day min & Memory care $250. Daily.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Yes! With a one-time pet fee of $1000.00
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Yes, we partner with a local clinic that comes here and if that is something desired by the resident, they can partake.
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes, as long as they stay a one-person assist. That can more explained during the tour as well. That’s a state guideline.
