Elcor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has been providing family care choices for over 57 years. Elcor was founded in 1965 by Lester Poes.
Elcor is conveniently located on the outskirts of Horseheads, NY, halfway between Elmira and Corning. Our three modern, adjoined buildings are pleasantly situated on a grassy slope just off Route 17/I-86.
Elcor offers a full range of special activities and choice to our residents from religious services to a beauty parlor. Meals are carefully prepared and served in cheerful dining rooms. Special menus are offered to accommodate the individual preferences of our residents.

my spouse was at this horrible place for one month.every time we went to see him, his bedding,gown and diaper were wet..and how long does a diaper have before it wont hold anymore.I wanted to take him home after 4th day in a row when he was wet.only to be told Ii would be arrested for kidnapping if I took him.that was not true..I went to see him on christmas eve b/c Elcor fb page said all our residents are enjoying the holiday. Well my spouse was not.he was wet again...his bed was by window. the curtain was pulled.he was wet,alone,isolated.I dressed him and took him home..
