Egle Nursing and Rehab Center offers the most state-of-the-art 24 hour professional skilled nursing care available anywhere.
In July of 1977 Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Egle founded Egle Nursing and Rehab Center. The nursing facility has seen many changes in its rich history. In 1992, Egle nursing expanded in size from 24 beds to 66 beds with continued philosophy of care centered on the needs of residents. In 2000, the facility was purchased by G.C. Healthcare a locally owned business owned by Jeff Metz, David Lauder, Troy Raines, and Barbara Lauder.
Located in Georges’s Creek Valley, Lonaconing, Maryland, the facility is a major employer of 100 highly skilled professionals. Most recently, an Alzheimer’s Care Program, and a Progressive Skilled Nursing Care Program have been added to our rehabilitation unit.
Egle continues a philosophy of care solely centered on the needs of all residents. We take pride in the ability to provide the highest level of care in a small facility and hometown atmosphere. Our nursing facility provides even a greater emphasis to the smallest of details and immaculate facility that is tailored to meet the continual needs of our residents.
