INDEPENDENT LIVING

Our Professional Team
We have, at a minimum, a licensed Assisted Living Administrator, a full time Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Nursing Assistants, Certified Medication Assistants, and a variety of trained staff who care for our residents in many ways. Unlike many communities we do not utilize “universal workers” who do everything, but employ specialized staff for housekeeping, dining services, and activities.
Resident Safety and Wellbeing
We have many measures in place to secure the safety and wellbeing of our residents, however, do not provide 1-1 care. Care provided is based on a care plan developed with resident and any family or persons they designate, and our care team. Our staff communicate any significant changes in resident condition any family designated by resident. We have an open line of communication and encourage residents and designated family to reach out directly to staff with any concerns they have. If a concern is not addressed in a satisfactory way we encourage you to reach out to our regional vice president and of course we do have a formal grievance procedure. We find that most concerns are quickly resolved with communication.
Lifestyle and Amenities
We have a full recreation program which includes scheduled transportation to medical appointments, shopping, luncheons and many other outings. These services are complimentary as scheduled. We do allow pets provided that the resident is able to care for and clean up after pets and that pet does not disturb other residents. Our dining experience is restaurant style, with a wide variety of offerings. Lunch and dinner feature four courses and two featured chef specials in addition to our “every day” choices.
