Recently I was a patient at this facility there for rehab. I was pleased with the care I had. The entire staff was caring and professional. I would definitely recommend this facility for care of a loved one or yourself. Many thanks to everyone at Delaware Court for making this experience a comfortable a good one
Terrible place to have a loved one! some of the staff is wonderful and very loving and caring, others well...food is HORRIFIC!! There is mold in the kitchen that was brought to the boss' attention (not the kitchen manager) and HE shrugged it off! patients are better off somewhere else!
This is an excellent facility. Our dad went for rehabilitation and the entire staff is outstanding! They all treated my father with respect. We can’t thank them enough for all the care and help they gave our whole family. They kept us posted on his progress and explained everything. I personally observed the staff with many of the other residents/patients and they truly treat them like family. Very knowledgeable staff. Another important observation was it is a very clean facility and smells fresh! We highly recommend this wonderful facility! My father would tell you the dood was awesome also which is very important to older individuals. Thanks so much to the entire staff!
It was disgusting. I had my mom there for one day. I asked if they had railings for the beds. Nope -- they lower them down to the ground so that they roll out onto the floor. If we get a doctor's note, we can put a mattress next to her so she didn't roll on the floor. My mom can't quite walk to the bathroom, and she had to wait over an hour for an aide to come, so she peed herself. When I called her this morning, she mentioned that she hadn't eaten yet. An aide, nastily, snapped, "I TOLD YOU, it's from 8-9:30. Can't you READ?" We went this morning and pulled her out. I don't know what insurance is going to do, and I don't even care. I cried the whole way home after leaving her there. Please don't take your loved ones there.
it is a good place to take your loved ones in time of need My husband was there for a short stay and they treated him very well I also worked for DCHCC for almost 20 years and liked it My boss at the time was Bill Leverings And he was very kind and a good boss If ever i needed to go to a nursing home this is were i would want to go Well done DCHCC
My name is Karen Murfield Ray Faircloth. I remember going into the Delaware Court Healthcare Center , several years ago ! I am trying to remember WHO we ( I think I went with Winnie -my sister ) went to see , who had to be there , for awhile ! HHHMMM ?? Well, ANYWAY, I just want everyone , near & far , to know about the JOYS of a life these EMPLOYEES and MORE makes it possible to share !! Knowing that I am almost constantly home-bound --makes me realize how FANTASTIC it is --to be able to find PHOTOS of the JOY our Relatives SHARE !! I took a minute (turned into 1/2 an hour) to LOOK at the BLESSED photo's of our Family Members , on the photo page ! The PLEASURE of my TEARS and BLESSINGS of HEART will forever be in gratitude to this Company, and ALL of it's WONDERFUL WORKERS !! Have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS to ONE & ALL !! xoxoxoxoxoxxxx
It was a very nice place. Had to be there after knee replacement. They were very caring and anything I needed they did their best to get it for me. The nurses and aides were wonderful and the food was even pretty tasty. All in all a great experience. I also have gone back for more physical therapy because the were so good.
