I have had the pleasure of working with Whitney and the Adult Day Program at Cascade Park. The staff there show such kindness and compassion for their residents, and I admire their commitment to working with a vulnerable and often underserved population. Keep up the good work Cascade Park!
We have referred clients many times to Cascade Park Communities over the past 11+ years, and in those 11+ years have never heard a complaint - only great satisfaction with the care received. We continue to be amazed at the longevity of their staff, and the commitment exhibited. Congratulations Cascade Park Communities for receiving zero deficiency surveys for all three of your service providers: Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Adult Day Health. We at Graham & Graham Eldercare Consultants know how rare it is to obtain zero deficiency surveys! Way to go!
I went into Cascade Park Vista in November with my husband. I instantly enjoyed the atmosphere and the historic qualities of the community. It used to be the Doric Hotel and has a lot of charm! The rooms are clean and the community smells fresh. The admissions team also really tries to help families and I was impressed. I would be happy to have my loved one here.
Horrible experience with the administration of this facility. Provided questionable information about Medicaid. Could not get a straight answer from the administration regarding admission of a relative. They did a terrible job of communicating. Gave answers that had nothing to do with my questions. These people are not up front and play games.
I wanted to take a moment and reach out to Cascade Park Gardens to commend the wonderful staff -- Charlo, Heather, Monica, Christina, Jen Drake, and all. This pandemic has been so hard on the families of residents I'm sure (like ours), but certainly a huge challenge for the staff as well. And yet they have been so good to me and my mom by phone. Whenever I call to check in on my dad, they have a little story to tell me, and sometimes they take the time to even let me try to communicate with him by phone. My mom drove by yesterday, though of course she didn't ring the bell since she can't go in. The sign out front saying "Heroes Work Here" has had her and I in tears for two days! I'm so lucky to have found Jen Drake and Cascade! Thank you so much.
I have had occasion to work with Whitney in the Adult Day Program and am very impressed with the level of caring and commitment that Cascade has for its participants. This is not always and easy population to serve and they appear to be doing it with the utmost kindness and compassion. I am looking forward to continuing to develop a relationship with this provider of important services to this vulnerable population. Keep on keeping on, Cascade Park!
I have worked for Cascade Park Communities since Feb 2014. I started out as the evening shift floor nurse and very shortly (6 months) was given the opportunity to join the Administrative Team as the Admissions Coordinator for one program. Since then, I have grown into the role of Admissions Manager and have been given so many more opportunities to gain insight into other roles in the company. If you show initiative, a collaborative mindset, and hard work, the growth opportunities at Cascade Park Communities (Gardens, Vista, Active Day) are countless and the team is eager and excited for you to advance! They truly go above an beyond to help you set and then reach your career goals.
This little place is a hidden gem with a huge heart! Its character and history, along with a skilled team that will go the extra mile for you. I've had the pleasure of working with this caring group, and on top of that, my neighbors have shared that they have a friend staying at Cascade and she is well taken care of and they enjoy visiting this location. You will feel welcomed when you stop by to check it out!
Enjoyed hearing from your residents and staff in the video’s. Love all the activities and services you offer. The option of have such a quality day stay program with options and profession staff at a very reasonable rate. I especially appreciate your community accepts Medicaid those who struggle with the Dailey challenges of dementia .
The staff here have always gone above and beyond to help get folks assessed and housed as quickly as possible. Very respectful, caring and responsive when there have been questions or concerns. Jen has been a blessing to work with! Love the atmosphere here as it feels warm and welcoming.
I have worked for Cascade Park Communities for over 15 years. Cascade Park Vista hired me as a dietary aide when I was fresh out of high school, just needing a paycheck. The mission and values really caught my attention, so I worked hard and realized that I could make a positive difference in the lives of our residents. I was afforded many opportunities to grow within the company over the years. I am so grateful for the support I have been given by my mentors and Don Hansen. The knowledge and experience I have gained while working here has helped me grow personally and professionally. I am grateful for this amazing service to the community!
I came to Cascade Park Vista in February because of the commitment they have for the residents. Having been corporate most of my working career, moving to a privately owned community was a bit scary for me at first as It was a first time experience for me. I am happy to report that I have not been disappointed in the level of care and commitment that we provide. The staff, are caring and compassionate and the management team, all the way up to the owners of the company are hands on, servant leaders that all work as one to ensure that we are all living our mission and core values everyday. I am proud to be a part of this exciting group of people who only want the best for our residents.
I’ve been working for this community for over 4 years now. Lots of room to grow and advance. I myself got internally promoted after a year of working and I am so blessed that they gave me a chance to move up to prove what I can do for this community. The owners are wonderful and genuinely cares about our senior population. I love my residents and will go above and beyond to make sure that we are meeting their needs. I have recommended few people to come and join our team and because we all share the same mission they are still currently working happily there.
I met the CEO, Chad, and Development Director, Jen, about a year ago. Their integrity, mission to help seniors in need, and willingness to help me grow professionally stood out to me. I am lucky to be an employee with Cascade Park now and am proud of our team and the way we care for seniors who have no where else to go in Pierce County. The work environment is also very supportive of growth and making sure employees know they have opportunities to advance. Work life balance is also great.
no staff , no smart nurses except the asian guy hes very sweet . there is only one or two caregivers everytime i go to see my mom and i feel bad for them . the receptionist is rude and doesn't really know much and is always gossiping when i walk in . place seems nasty . and the elevators seem to never work .mr.brooks
I am proud to say that I have worked for Cascade Park for over 13 years. I have held many roles in the company during my time there and regardless of my position or status have always felt respected and valued. I have seen many changes and tremendous growth and am still excited to go to work every day, maybe more so now than ever before. The residents and clients we serve in our programs are amazing and bring me joy on even the worst days. The opportunity to serve them gives me purpose and reminds me what is important in life.Cascade Park has an amazing mission and values that I can be proud to support. I would highly recommend it as a place to work!
