Overview of Staff and Training
Our staff includes Medication Technicians, Certified Nurse Assistants, Dietary, Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Activity Directors. An RN is available in the building 5 days a week and on call 24/7. Our HR director ensures all staff complete their continuing education and training to keep certifications current.
Safety and Well-being Measures
We conduct 2-hour checks on all residents, with adjustments made for specific needs. Our exterior doors are locked and armed 24/7, except for the front door which is locked at night.
Transition Support Services
We partner with Senior Health And Education Partners for the psychological well-being of our residents, aiding in their transition and addressing dementia/old age memory loss. They also have the ability to prescribe medications.
Transportation Services
Transportation is provided for medical appointments and activity outings.
Dining Experience
We serve 3 hot meals a day, offering one entrée, one lighter fare, and 5 alternate choices. Mealtime also serves as an important social activity.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
Our team, including the Executive Director, is always ready to address any concerns and resolve situations as they arise.
Communication with Residents' Families
Keeping open lines of communication with families is crucial, and we ensure to update them about their loved ones' well-being, especially in emergencies.
Short-term or Respite Stays
Respite stays are offered based on availability, with a waitlist in place. The cost is $250 per day for assisted living and $300 for memory care.

We welcome pets and currently have 1 cat and 1 dog residing with us.

They also mention a lack of climate control in the theater, which is about 10°F colder than the hallway it shares climate control with, making it uncomfortable during movie showings.

The staff in Horizons are very caring and kind, with the manager Brandy being very committed to ensuring the residents' needs are met and they are treated like family.
This facility is highly praised for its niceness, great food, numerous activities, and amazing nurses, aides, and staff. A loved one is very happy here.
A new resident's mom has lived here for a little over a month and loves her new home. She has been made to feel very welcome by helpful, friendly, and compassionate team members.
