The staff are so professional and kind. Every interaction is thoughtful and resident centered. We are lucky to have an amazing facility such as this in our area and are able to benefit from the cutting edge care that is provided.Thank you for continuing to be the leader in healthcare!
I have had the pleasure as an orthotist of working with the Therapy department and the staff of Cadia Pike Creek for over the past 10 years. The Therapists in the rehab department are all extremely professional and at the top of their field in the knowledge of rehabilitation therapy. From the Director of rehab to the physical and occupational therapists at Cadia you can feel there passion for helping improve the quality life for the patients. The past year has been extremely difficult working in the health care industry dealing with Covid and all the extra precautions to keep patients and staff safe all while providing quality care . The staff at Cadia Pike Creek never wavered from their mission of providing quality care and rehabilitation for their patients during these difficult times . Working with all the staff at Cadia Pike Creek is always pleasure and I know the patients they and I am helping are getting the best care and compassion. Those that choose health care for their careers do so because they care and want to help others and that is especially true when it comes to those at Cadia Pike Creek.
I interact regularly with the patients and staff at Cadia Pikecreek, as an outside vendor. The staff is very helpful and accommodating to the needs and requirements of the patients. The facility is well kept with spacious patient rooms. Its always a pleasure to go in there and facilitate the wellbeing of the patients in tandem with the staff.
I have had the privilege of collaborating with Ray and the Social Services team on patient care for almost three years. The team is skilled at recognizing complex older adult patients and pairing them with continued therapy treatment in the home to maximize functional wellness while reducing the risk of a hospitalization. The patient and family are included in the decision process. Information shared is thorough and timely allowing for enhanced coordination of care and consistency for patients and families. The staff is responsive and a pleasure to work with.
I collaborate with Cadia Rehabilitation Pike Creek as a liaison for Amedisys Home Healthcare. I keep in close contact with the social worker Ray and help patients as they transition home after their amazing stay at this facility. We work as a team to make sure the patient has the services needed in place upon discharge. We provide skilled nursing for wound care, medication, and disease management. Physical therapy and Occupational therapy can also be provided to have patients continue their strength and endurance training in their own home. Once they are discharged, we make sure they follow up with their primary care doctor in the community. Ray and I talk most weeks to assess the needs and see if we are the right fit. I appreciate our relationship and will continue to work closely with patients leaving this facility once their stay has come to an end. We service both Maryland and Delaware. Kindly, Sharon RN
I am a community care manager and have been working with a resident at Cadia Pike Creek since April. He has made incredible progress with the support of the Cadia team. He and his family have found hope when the situation had felt hopeless prior to coming to Cadia. Thank you!
I have worked with Cadia pike creek for over 10 years and have had a wonderful working relationship throughout the years. I’ve had family members receive excellent care as well as countless patients who have expressed similar experiences with nursing and therapy staff. The care and collaboration this facility does with patients and care continuum staff makes working with the team seamless throughout the transition. I have also had countless patients direct admitted to this building for quality care which allowed the patient to stay out of the hospital. I would recommend this facility for anyone looking for high quality post acute needs.
Great rehab/long term care community! I work for a homecare company and hear lots of great feedback from our clients that have been at Cadia about the excellent care they have received while there. The SW/discharge planning team and staff at Cadia Pike Creek are wonderful to work with, very caring!
Amazing Team to work with! I work for a Home Health Agency and work very closely with the Cadia Team to coordinate Home Care services for Patient's being discharged. The entire team is so knowledgeable, kind and compassionate, especially the Social Worker- Ray. They always put the Patient's first and go above and beyond to make sure their needs are met.
Before I came to Cadia Rehab Pike Creek on Little Bakers Drive, I was in Christiana Hospital for 26 days. I’ve been at Cadia Rehab for 18 days a total of 44 days. When I came Cadia I wasn’t strong enough to stand or walk alone by myself. With the help of 2 very nice and talented Therapist, Taylor and Chris I am successfully standing and walking alone. Thank you Ladies good job well done. Nurses, PT and OT are the unsung Hero’s of the medical community
