ComcernsTtsmithh [email protected] days agoDetailsI emailed you in February late marchRegarding the neglect @cadence marietta.Residents are still being left in thier room unattend to.Some residents are left with urine on them for hours before being changed,including leaving residents sleep in the bed full of urine..some residents would be left for hours with bowel movement the entire day before being changed. Residents have complained and refused to have some employees care for them because of neglect & rudeness.Residents have constantly complained thier not getting a shower. When I last emailed. you.Mike dollander reached out to me, after that no one followed up with me. and the care continue to go downPlease follow up on these concerns,as i have address theses concerns inI have witness Both the maintenance director and. the assistant Smoking marijuana durning work hours.they come to work. With marijuana smell on them.This is a serious concern knowing that i contacted the coprate office and recived no call back
I was called out to help a resident with a technical issue so he could have video calls with his family. The lady at the front desk refused entry even though we take every precaution capable to protect ourselves and our clients during this pandemic. I was admitted the previous day to help an individual set up their tech needs for similar reasons. If the staff is inconsistantly preventing tech support during authorized service calls.... that's alarming and possibly very expensive for the service providers as well as the customer.
I am so fortunate to have found Cadence Marrietta Living for my Mother's care. The center is clean, modern and updated. The apartments are spacious with plenty of natural light.The best aspect of all is the professional and caring staff. Everyone I have interacted with from the management to the care givers have been friendly and helpful. They have created a fun environment with state of the art care techniques.My mother likes the staff and the food. The culinary department does an outstanding job. I have had meals wih mom and they have been tasty and nutritious. The special banquets produced by the culinary team are top notch....and the food is sooooo good.As I said in the beginning I am fortunate to have found a place who helps me not to have to worry about the care my mother is receiving.Cadence....youll love it.SincerelyEverett Mike Murphy
We are very grateful we found Cadence living! The staff is very helpful and very kind to the people that live here. We looked for a place for our daddy and the minute we walked in the door we knew this was it! Lots of activities for the residents and have been very proactive in the fight against the pandemic. Staff is very friendly and always available for questions! Highly recommend Cadence living!!! The staff here have become family to us and I cant thank them enough for the care and compassion they show my daddy! FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY!
Where do I begin, first of all if you are unfortunate enough to have a memory problem this place is unable to accommodate you. Our relative went from bad to worse in a very short period of time here. They are very deceptive and the truth is not in them. After repeated meetings with administrative staff and empty promises we finally just did what we knew we had to do, VACATE the PREMISES. We left minus many things that we came with even with names on items. Their staff is untrained, every time I visited which was sometimes twice a month from out of state I could count on one hand how many workers I had seen before. People run from that place. Their workers are underpaid, overworked, and nobody is trained to work with people with memory issues. I cannot speak for their assisted living department, but expect that if they are in memory care that they will not go anywhere outside that building unless you take them. My relative in a year only left on an outing once. They have no dedicated staff to assist those with memory issues and if they tried it would fail because they don't pay workers enough to stay with them. We were fortunate to move our loved one before they were greatly harmed.
This is a beautiful place and the staff is very friendly. When I visit everyone seems to really love my mom. She has only been a resident since March and the price is much more reasonable than the former assisted living. I also appreciate they do not charge by level of care and cost is all inclusive. Tara Graham has such a kind spirit and really cares about the residents and their families.
My father has been at Cadence Marietta for almost a year now. His health has improved and he really enjoys the company of the staff and residents. They are like an extended family to him and us. He tells me everyone treats him with respect and helps him with anything he needs. Tara Graham was a tremendous help connecting me with the right resources to help me get my dad's VA Aid and Attendance Pension. We really appreciated all the hard work the staff and workers do to help all the residents there. They do their very best to see that the residents have a joyful day everyday! I have recommended this facility to several people that I know.
Cadence have been an amazing experience for me. They have gone over and beyond assisting me with the care of my mom. From the front office, nurse care all the way to the kitchen has been a tremendous blessing to us. Thanks to the entire staff of Cadence....you do amazing work. I highly recommend this facility for any love one that’s in need...
My mother in law has been a Cadence/Elmcroft for almost 4 years. Everyone there is wonderful. When we visit and pass staff with mom, we can tell they love mom and she loves them. If mom had any issues with staff, she would not be able to hide it. Every level of staff, and every level of care has been great. As far as her well being, I can honestly say Cadance living is the best thing for mom in this stage of her life, she is happier now than she had been for a long time.
My grandmother was here for about two years and just recently passed Jan, 31 around 6 pm. Arrangements were made and the funeral was Sunday. My parents went back to clean her room and tie up lose ends on Monday and I cannot believe they charged them for 4 days in February because her room was not cleaned out. Where is your compassion?! I realize there was prob something in the contract that mentioned this that was signs 3 years ago but who is going to think about this when a loved one just passed. I realize your a business, but the type of business your in you be better about how the handle grieving families and business.Some of the staff I know were fabulous and incrediblily caring and trained, some of the other staff seemed to have no care in the world, sit on their phones instead taking care of residents. It’s just sad to pay soo much for care and to not always receive it.
My mom is a resident at Cadence Marietta The Care she received was very poor, my mother called for help. and waited for hours sitting in her chair full of urine .before someone came.when i reported my concerns.all we receive was excuses. They will sell you a dream,and give you nothing
I am a Resident Service Director at another assisted living community in the metro Atlanta area. I had to do an assessment today on a memory care resident at Cadence. When I arrived, the staff was engaged with activities with the residents and assisted me with my efforts when asked. Yvette was the Director there and she was kind and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions in order for me to do what I needed to do. This isn't always the case when visiting another community so I was grateful!
