Our community employs RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and HHAs, all licensed by the state of Indiana. New hires undergo extensive training at our facility, and all staff members complete monthly senior living trainings online to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest care practices.
Safety and Well-Being Measures
To ensure the safety of our residents, we provide a 24-hour emergency pendant. This allows residents to alert nursing staff if they require immediate assistance.
Transition Support Services
We offer support for residents transitioning into our community through weekly visits from a psychologist. These visits are covered by insurance and residents can sign up to receive this resource.
Transportation Services
Our transportation services include trips to doctor's appointments within a 14-mile radius, scheduled at least a month in advance, and grocery store outings on Fridays. These services are coordinated through our activity director.
Dining Experience
Residents enjoy three restaurant-style meals daily, with a choice of two entrees plus sides, soup, and dessert. An "All Day Menu" offers additional options for those who prefer something other than the day's entrees.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
Residents or family members can report complaints to staff or management, who will document the concern to ensure it is addressed and resolved. Issues can also be brought directly to our Executive Director.
Cost of Living
To secure a room, a payment of $2,000 is required, which includes a $1,500 refundable security deposit and a $500 non-refundable application/assessment fee.
Communication with Residents' Families
Nursing staff conduct care plans every 6 months to update families on their loved ones' well-being. Urgent updates are communicated as needed, including if a resident requires hospitalization or experiences a fall.
Short-Term or Respite Stays
We offer short-term "respite" stays with a minimum of 30 days. The cost includes rent, a 5% increase for the short-term stay, and the level of care required.
Pet-Friendly Community
We welcome cats and small breed dogs, provided the resident can care for and clean up after their pet. Our assisted living currently has a waitlist, with availability varying by floor plan.
