I can best answer these questions with some more input from you first, so I can focus my responses. What level of care are you looking for? We have availability in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care at this time and can share the appropriate pricing.
Our Dedicated Team
Brookdale San Jose employs a team of individuals who are passionate about caring for our residents. Their credentials range from medication technicians and nurses to personal training licenses and transportation specialists. Safety of our residents is paramount, we have different features in our different levels of care.
Transitioning to Our Community
We do have resources to aid in our residents’ transition into the community. At times we have move-in promotions to help with move-in costs. We always have our welcoming committee that reach out and help new residents settle in and build valuable relationships. We have activities, events, and entertainment to stimulate our residents and keep them strong. We also include local transportation for non-emergency medical appointments, banking, shopping, dining, and fun outings.
Dining and Nutrition
Our dining is available to eat in our restaurant-style dining rooms or our residents can opt to take a box to go and enjoy their meal in our beautiful courtyard or in their apartments. All of our food is prepared with no salt added, this helps our residents to stay healthy and manage their diets as needed. During summer, we have BBQs once a month to take full advantage of the gorgeous weather we get here in San Jose.
Maintenance and Support
For maintenance issues, we have a ticketing system; any issues can be reported to the front desk and maintenance will see to the repair. Outside of maintenance, we have an excellent team of Directors that go above and beyond to make sure Brookdale San Jose is at its best. If you have any issues in mind, let us know and we can talk more specifically.
Communication and Privacy
Communication with family varies on a case-by-case basis. We protect the privacy of our residents and share all important information with families per our care plans in Assisted Living and Memory Care.
Flexible Stays
We do offer short-term stays and respite stays. These are available in Assisted Living and Independent Living and would depend on the length of the stay. Please let me know what you are looking for and we can provide specifics. A visit would be a great way to take a deeper dive.
Pet-Friendly Community
We are pet friendly. We have a 2 pet maximum. We welcome well-behaved cats and dogs under 25 pounds for resident safety. We also have a therapy dog, Nova, that visits our residents on a regular basis.
Our Commitment to Resident Wellbeing
Our residents and their wellbeing is our priority. Brookdale has 3 levels of care so our residents can age in place and get necessary care should the time come.
