In the last five years, we have seen many changes in how the skilled nursing industry operates on a federal and state level, especially with regulatory controls and reimbursement changes. As an independent provider of skilled nursing services with one single facility, it became increasingly difficult to sustain the support and resources required to ensure Brookcrest operates the best that it can today and into the future.
Mission Point Healthcare Services is a Michigan-based organization with extensive knowledge and expertise in the skilled nursing industry and has the scale necessary to be successful in today’s skilled nursing world. Because of this, we know current and future Brookcrest residents will be in good hands. The Medicare website stars you see are misleading, once a good place they were bought out not that long ago and have been horrible ever since. Please take 10 minutes and go to the Medicare website and read the states health report back in May of this year. 40 pages of mistreatment, wrong doing and neglect. Taking 10 minutes to read the report could honeslty help save a life. I have never been to a place so awful in my life. The administrators and 90% of the staff don't seem to care that these people deserve basic rights and are dependent on them for living. This place needs to be shut down.
