About Us
We are owned by Five Star Senior Living, which has 185 communities across the country and more than 15,900 residents. Five Star Senior Living was founded in 2000 and operates in 29 states as of 2022. Brenden Gardens boasts a seasoned management team with extensive experience in senior living, including our Executive Director with 23 years in the business, our Business Office Manager celebrating 20 years with Brenden Gardens, and our Activities Director with 12 years. Our Executive Director, Christina Hubbell, is the primary contact for residents and family members for non-maintenance or billing issues.
Safety Measures
Our community is equipped with emergency pull cords in every bedroom and bathroom, alerting the front desk in case of an emergency. A security guard or concierge is always present at our front desk 24/7.
All-Inclusive Pricing
Our all-inclusive price offers 3 meals a day, weekly housekeeping, maintenance 6 days a week, all utilities except phone, anytime access to coffee/juice/tea, free transportation with Friday outings, and free weekly exercise classes. Outpatient Therapy, "Ageility," offers Physical and Occupational Therapy on the 3rd floor.
Community and Activities
New residents receive an orientation from an appointed resident to help them get acquainted. Brenden Gardens is pet-friendly, allowing small dogs, cats, and birds, with two dog walk areas available. Our transportation services include trips for banking, shopping, doctor's appointments, and various outings.
Independent Living
While we are an Independent Living community without medical staff, residents can hire additional assistance through "Heart and Hands" for activities of daily living. Their services are available daily at a cost of $45.00 a day.
Dining Experience
Our dining room serves 3 meals a day, with the main meal at noon being a 4-course meal. We focus on providing low sodium meals, fresh fruits, vegetables, and homemade rolls.
Health Services
Brenden Gardens offers flu and Covid-19 vaccines to our residents through a third-party team of Registered Nurses at no additional charge.
Pricing and Availability
The cost of our community is all-inclusive except for phone service. One-bedroom apartments start at $2770, and two-bedroom apartments start at $3280, with prices set to increase in February 2024. We also offer respite stays starting at $3325 a month. Our apartments feature full kitchens, three closets, and step-in tubs with grab bars. A one-time, non-refundable Community Fee of $1500 is required, covering the cost of room turns.
Moving Assistance
We offer various resources to assist new residents, including realtor services, downsizing help, movers, and financial services, aiming to reduce the stress on families.
