Located in the heart of Muscatine, Iowa, Pearl City Place offers a warm and welcoming environment for seniors seeking assisted living and memory care services. Our community is designed to support those who need assistance with daily activities while promoting independence and dignity.

Types of Care Offered

At Pearl City Place, we provide comprehensive care options to meet the diverse needs of our residents. Our services include:

• Assisted Living: Tailored support with daily activities, medication management, and more.
• Assistive Living Memory Care: Specialized care for residents with memory impairments, including Alzheimer's and dementia.

Waitlist and Expansion

Due to high demand, we currently have a waitlist for our memory care services. However, we are excited to announce an expansion that will add an additional 12 beds to our memory care unit, allowing us to accommodate more residents in need of specialized care.

Respite Care

Understanding the needs of caregivers and families, we offer respite care services for short-term stays. While the minimum stay is generally 30 days, we remain flexible and open to negotiation to best serve our community.

Pet Policy

Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis, with a focus on ensuring that residents can fully care for their pets independently. Our facility includes a courtyard for pets, and arrangements for walks can be made to accommodate the needs of our furry friends.

Transportation Services

To facilitate access to essential services and leisure activities, Pearl City Place provides transportation options. We have a bus and are working on contracts to offer scheduled transportation to doctor's appointments and other destinations on specific days of the week.

Dining Experience

Our dining services offer a blend of nutrition and choice, featuring a full salad bar, daily menus, and an always available menu that includes favorites like hot dogs, grilled cheese, deli sandwiches, and chef salads. Our aim is to provide a restaurant-like experience that caters to the tastes and dietary needs of all our residents.

Our Staff

Our dedicated team includes care partners, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Certified Medication Aides (CMAs), and medication technicians. We also have a Registered Nurse (RN) on-site Monday through Friday and on call 24/7. While we do not have a medical director, local internal medicine providers regularly visit our community to ensure comprehensive medical care.

Safety Measures

Resident safety is a top priority at Pearl City Place. All residents are provided with pendants as part of our call light system, ensuring that help is always just a button press away.
