Overview of Professionals and Training
We have a variety of staff and many tenured professionals here at Bella Villaggio. Specifically, we have a Full-Time Nurse and 24-hour staff of caregivers. Our director of sales has a degree in Gerontology and our General Manager has a background in social work. (Just to name a few!)
Safety and Well-being Measures
We have many measures in place for the safety of our residents which include daily wellness checks. Our front desk/concierge team notifies all staff of any resident who leaves our community. Each resident is issued a key fob which is required for any person entering after 7 pm. Additionally, our community is equipped with a state-of-the-art fire protection system and extensive closed-circuit security system.
Transition Resources and Support Services
We have many programs for families and new residents in our community. Most popular is our resident ambassador program. Run through our resident council, it is a program that networks new residents with a resident ambassador who helps introduce our new residents to our community members and staff. Also popular is our "new resident lunch-in".
Transportation Services
We do! Our community is lucky enough to have both a Mercedes sedan and an 8-passenger Mercedes van. We also have a full-time driver on staff and a concierge service to help arrange resident transportation. This is a service included in the rent.
Dining Experience
We like to say we have freestyle restaurant-style dining here at Bella Villaggio. Unlike many other communities, we do not have a point system when it comes to dining at BV. We pride ourselves on changing menus, and daily Lunch/Dinner and Desert (displayed) specials. People enjoy food at any age, and that is an important part of living here.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
Residents are encouraged to speak with any of our department managers or general manager when it comes to suggestions and concerns. We also have a monthly meeting between the resident-operated council and our General Manager.
Cost of Living
Attached you will find an e-brochure that highlights some estimated costs for our rent and care plans.
Communication with Residents' Families
When it comes to health-related issues. The main direct line of communication would come from our health and wellness director or staff nurse. (all within the guidelines of HIPAA and an established power of attorney for all residents. We also highly recommend our "My Leisure Care" App available to residents and family members. This is a great way to stay informed about the activities in the community.
Short-term or Respite Stays
Bella Villaggio operates at a very high capacity. However, without a required lease or buy-in program, we often have shifts in our monthly availability. On occasion, we will participate in a "trial stay" for someone looking to live more permanently at Bella Villaggio.
Pet-Friendly Community
Happy to report we are pet-friendly (within some pet regulations). And do not require a pet deposit. Dog walking is often a service we provide as part of our care plans.
Waitlist Program
We do offer a waitlist program for someone looking to live within our community in the next 90 days.
Community Lifestyle
The community itself will keep you as busy or as relaxed as you’d like. Sign up for an art class, get in shape with our PrimeFit program, or even book the vacation of a lifetime with your own private travel agency, Travel by Leisure Care. If you’d like to slow it down a bit, you can relax with friends in the bistro or join a pickup game of bridge or mahjong. With so many choices of things to do, and our friendly and professional staff always at the ready, you may just think we’re a luxury resort.
