The staff-to-resident ratio is almost triple the state-required number, with typically three caregivers for every 15 residents. Staff undergoes training with a physician and participates in 12 ongoing trainings throughout the year, with additional training as needed.

The community meets and exceeds all state regulations regarding building codes and safety requirements. The facility is continually updated and maintained to ensure the safety and comfort of all residents.

Moving Resources

While moving resources are primarily the responsibility of the resident and their family, Beehive Homes can provide recommendations for medical transport or moving services if needed.

Transportation Services

Transportation depends on the resident's needs. The senior center provides a vehicle for trips, and arrangements can be made with the owners for other necessary travel. The community also has a "Beehive bus" for parades and special events. Additionally, a local bus service with a minimal fee is available with 24-hour notice.

Dining Experience

Beehive Homes offers a small, intimate dining experience with an on-staff chef cook for each house. Meals are dietician-approved, made from scratch, and periodically changed. Residents have the option to request alternative meals if they do not prefer the scheduled dish.

Residents can submit complaints through the line of authority, starting with the manager and escalating to the owners if necessary. The community follows the legal process for handling complaints and strives to resolve issues promptly.
