Avista Nursing and Rehab is proud to deliver high caliber subacute, skilled nursing and long term care to the cities of Saginaw, Bay City, Midland, Flint, Detroit and Ann Arbor. As a member of Preferred Care, we are leveraging its rich healthcare expertise and resources to enhance our continuum of clinical care to the communities of Central Michigan.
In our homey and comfortable environment suffused with small-town warmth, our staff knows every patient by name. The doctors, nurses, and therapists at Avista are noted for their concern and dedication towards every patient as they provide individualized post-hospital care. To best serve our patients and meet all their post acute care needs – our clinical team includes a wound care doctor and on-site respiratory therapist, and we now offer state-of-the-art dialysis in-house.
We take pride in getting most of our short-term rehab patients back home in a very short time frame. Our dedicated subacute unit features well-appointed suites, physical, occupational and speech therapy 7 days a week and an array of amenities. Coming Soon . . . .14 new private suites with private bathrooms, and a newly renovated rehab gym.
Our long term care unit is overseen by a team of dedicated and well-trained nurses who are available 24/7 to provide warm and attentive nursing and hospice care.
