Arkansas State Veterans Home At North Little Rock Description
On July 29, 2015, the ceremonial shovels dug in to mark a new beginning for Arkansas State Veterans Home at North Little Rock (ASVH-NLR). Arkansas has proudly opened its first-ever Veterans home, crafted from the ground up to provide long-term care for our brave heroes. ASVH-NLR is a cozy abode consisting of eight distinct dwellings, each providing shelter and comfort to twelve lucky occupants. Every inhabitant will be provided with their own personal space and bathroom. A mere fraction of long-term care facilities nationwide are crafted and managed as cozy abodes. They tell u have a job with them and they don't even call u or anything I put my two weeks notice because I got hired on with them I was out of a job for almost a month I just want to say thanks for everything I pass both interviews also being adult and call people back I had to call them and get answers
ASVH is like nothing else available for my Veteran husband, Dan, who's debilitating stroke left him unable to walk and needed more care than I could provide at home. Count yourself very lucky if your loved one gets a bed here. The staff, food, therapy, and environment is incomparable to nursing homes.
My 88-year-old father is at the Arkansas Veterans Home at Ft. Roots in N.Little Rock. The Fort Roots medical facility has suffered a 100+ year lousy reputation but I am here to report this new skilled nursing facility is the best in Arkansas. My families high expectations have been more than met here, we would recommend to anyone who qualifies for veteran benefits.
