Worst place to put your love one. Staff surely underpaid, since they don't give a dam about their residents. Make sure you check complains on the Arizona department Of health. My mom was there for less than year until she passed. She fell 3 times and the last time she broke her hip and wrist. The people in charge lie and don;t accept responsibilities. They don't care for their resident's property, my mom died on someone's else's clothes. The saddest thing in my life because the alzheimer took her dignity but she was also stripped from whatever was left at this place.
My mom has been here since Oct. This is a locked facility and my mom has not been able to escape. She did escape from other facilities. Staff turnover is high. Some of the staff are very nice like Mona. Some are caring. Thankfully Mona takes such good care of my mom. Not sure why the rearrange furniture pretty much weekly. They changed the leather sofas for cloth which was a mistake as they are always wet. They also should label the restroom as residents can never find it
Yes the outside looks nice but that's about it. There are about 2 to 3 decent caregivers but no more. My mom has to wait forever for someone to come and help her. She either falls or soils herself trying to help herself. I and my mother have caught caregivers sleeping numerous amount of times. Nobody gives a shit about the residents. Don't even get me started on the stuff they call food. DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE.
Please do not place your parents in here! Even a caregiver there said they would not place their parent. My mother fell and the caregiver did not report it to management. Arbor Rose never called me to report it, Hospice was in the next day and called me about the incident. My mother has been in this facility for 2 1/2 years and the quality of help has gone down especially after the new Management last October.
This is the WORST place to take your loved one. They dropped my mom on her head 3 times and lied about it saying she rolled out of bed. She was in a hoyer lift and the staff members either did not know how to move her or didn't have enough staff members to help move her. They dropped her 3 times over 4 months and said she rolled out of bed and lied to us. They do not take care of their employees and there are new employees there every day, the turnover rate is crazy. The head guy, Darcy does not care about his employees or his residences, he is only in it to make money for himself. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!!!!!!!
The staff at Arbor Rose have always been excellent at caring for their residents. The buildings and grounds are kept clean and beautiful. I love that they have separate houses to help their residents feel at home. One of my favorite things about Arbor Rose is that they have a Day Club. In their day club, residents from the Assisted Living Houses, Memory Care House and from throughout the East Valley are engaged in fun events throughout the day. There is never a shortage of activities in the Day Club.
Since we took our mom to Arbor Rose, I have had nothing but great experiences with the staff! Ruth at the front desk is always so friendly and helpful! Sally and Julie have been friendly and accommodating!Julie is so energetic and upbeat! The director of the facility, Dylan is so professional, friendly, upbeat! He is also very patient. I had so many questions in the beginning and he answered them to the best of his ability! The building my mom is in is always so clean and well kept!Great job Arbor Rose!!
My mother has been at Arbor Rose for almost 2 years now. She has enjoyed living there and has benefited from the friendships she has with other residents and especially her caregivers. Special shout outs to Julie, Susie, Linda, Ruth and Terry. The caregivers are also our friends and we trust them as they give loving, professional care to our mother. Sincere gratitude to you all!Covid made it rough last year. I know that Dylan and all of his staff worked their absolute best, and many times went above and beyond, to give great care and maximize families’ ability to communicate with and love their loved ones. Thanks for all you did and continue to do.
I am absolutely thrilled with my experience with the staff and experience I have had with Arbor Rose!! I have placed my mother here and she LOVES it!!! She has dementia, and needs help with multiple physical and medical things as well as prompting and direction because of the dementia. But I also love that she is encouraged to be independent with the things she can still do! She is finding purpose and friendships. She is a retired nurse and loves to dote on and "help" her fellow residents, in a way that makes her still feel valuable. So while she needs as much help now that I cannot give... she is in an environment to receive that, but can give it, even if it is simply helping pull out a chair at meal time for her fellow cottage mate. Thank you to Kim, Julie, Sally, Dylan and Amanda for all you have done for mom and me!!
No one knew the what the pandemic what bring, and getting my mother approved to become at resident at Arbor Rose during this time had me stressed. My main thought was am I doing the right thing for a person that has Dementia. I can honestly say the was the perfect situation for us as my worries became less and a year later my mom is safe and Happy as ever and this is due to the staff ...each and every person deserves a thanks.
I have had nothing but great service from Arbor Rose, with the handling of my Dad's case. He moved in several months ago and Dad is happier now then when he was living with us. I know that's difficult to grasp since my name is Willy Wonka and he had LOTS of short help here at the factory. So imagine my shock! Ha!But seriously... we're so happy that we found Arbor Rose. It's really been the best choice for Dad. I took him to dinner the other night and he bragged about how "they do haircuts and everything". He was sporting a nice doo AND his fingernails were trimmed (which is a pet peave of his).Anyway, kudos to the team at Arbor. Great job, from Dylan to everyone else. Thanks!
My husband lives in Arbor Rose. He has lived there now for a few years. His care got to the point that I was no longer able to care for him on my own. Arbor feels like family when I enter and I see him multiple times through the week and am so happy with his care. When I ask him how his care is “daily” he always says “very good”. Thank you Arbor for helping us make this transition and for caring for my husband of 56 years. We appreciate everything the staff does!
We LOVE Arbor! My Father has been in this community for two years now and the staff and management have been amazing! Dylan the main manager has been amazing through the COVID pandemic. Julie and Sally are both phenomenal with his care and it feels like family when we enter. We love the smaller cottage atmosphere where the resident is not just a number. Thank you Arbor for everything! We as a family appreciate your love and care for dad.
