Overview of Professional Staff and Training
Our Assisted Living (AL) provider staff includes professionals from various departments such as Culinary, Life Enrichment, Marketing, Administration, Concierges, and Wellness, which includes RNs, LPNs, Med Techs, and Resident Assistants. All staff undergo rigorous training to ensure they meet the high standards set forth by our company headquarters in Michigan, as well as adhering to state regulations.
Safety and Well-Being Measures
We have a comprehensive set of policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents. Our wellness team conducts initial assessments to determine the appropriateness of our services, which are then tailored to the needs and wishes of the resident and their family. These assessments are updated annually, upon significant change, or at the request of the resident or family. We utilize an electronic health record system to manage and respond to residents' needs on a daily basis.
Transition Support Services
To aid new residents in transitioning into our community, our life enrichment team provides opportunities for social engagement and pairs new residents with others who have similar interests.
Transportation Services
Transportation services are available for our residents.
Dining Experience
We offer dining three times a day, seven days a week. Our menus, which include alternative options for every meal, are approved by a dietician.
Resident Complaints and Issues
Residents can voice their concerns to any staff member or department head. Issues can also be addressed through resident council meetings, town hall meetings, or formal written grievances, which will prompt a direct follow-up from me.
Cost of Living
The cost of living in our community ranges from $4,000 to $7,000 per month, depending on the apartment size, level of care needed, and whether the resident is in Memory Care, which has all-inclusive pricing.
Communication with Residents' Families
We communicate with residents' families through various means, including email, care plan meetings, family meetings, and mailed letters.
Short-Term or Respite Stays
We offer respite stays, typically for a minimum of 30 days, at a cost of approximately $200 per day, which is all-inclusive.
Pet-Friendly Community
Yes, we are a pet-friendly community.
Waitlist Information
We currently do not have a waitlist.
Covid and Flu Vaccinations
Residents are able to receive Covid and flu vaccinations within the community.
Aging in Place
Residents are able to age in place, although there are circumstances where a resident's needs may exceed what we can provide under our Assisted Living licensure, necessitating a transition to Skilled or Long Term care.
