Many people ask how Wyngate is different? Our community is located just outside of Huntington in the small village of Proctorville. Our Wyngates are very welcoming and we simply add to the small hometown environment. The Wyngate is well known in the surrounding area–in fact we have a sister community right across the river in Barboursville!
We pride ourselves in providing great care while maintaining a very homelike atmosphere. Our residents know that they don't live in our community, we work in their home. Residents have their own private apartment at The Inn which gives them a sense of independence, yet allowing assistance to be readily available if needed. Independent living at The Landings offers a maintenance-free environment with great views of the Ohio River. We have partnered with Cabell Huntington Hospital and are proud to have their medical office on our campus, providing primary and urgent care, imaging and lab, physical, occupational, and speech therapy as well as home health services.
