Wilshire on 4th Property Overview
Our Wilshire on 4th property is led by Terie Gardner, serving as the Executive Director for 8 years. The facility is supported by 3 house managers with extensive experience in Long Term Care. We ensure our caregivers receive monthly training, alongside ongoing on-the-job training, to provide the best care possible.
Certified Memory Care Unit
Our Certified Memory Care unit is a secure, locked facility. Conversely, our Type B homes on 4th street maintain an open door policy from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., after which the doors are locked, though access for after-hours visitors is available.
Client Transitions
Understanding the importance of smooth transitions for our new clients, we assign an employee to each to aid in their acclimation to our community.
Transportation and Meals
Transportation services are available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We offer three meals a day, supplemented by hydration options and snacks, all planned by a certified dietician.
Communication and Feedback
All complaints and concerns should be directed to the Executive Director. Communication within our community can come from various sources, including the Executive Director, house managers, nurses, and Home Health or Hospice services.
Short Term and Respite Care
Short term and respite care options are available, subject to current availability.
Pet Friendly Community
We welcome pets in our community, specifically small dogs (under 20 pounds) and cats, ensuring a homely atmosphere for our residents.
Vaccination Clinic
A vaccination clinic is available every fall or as needed, to ensure the health and safety of our community.
Aging in Place
As an aging in place facility, we support our residents with the assistance of Home Health or Hospice services. We currently have availability for those in need of our services.
