Overview of Our Professional Staff and Training
Our Leadership Team consists of an Executive Director, Health & Wellness Director (RN), Community Sales Director, Memory Care Director, Culinary Director, Maintenance Director, Activity Director, Med Techs, and Care Staff. All members are specially trained to work with older adults with dementia and other diagnoses, ensuring a high level of care and expertise within our facility.
Safety and Well-Being Measures
Safety is our top priority. Each resident receives an individualized plan of care tailored to their needs. Our front doors remain unlocked during the day, with continuous monitoring of all individuals entering and exiting the community to ensure resident safety.
Resources and Support for New Residents
To aid in the transition into our community, we have a Welcome Committee made up of residents. Additionally, our management team personally introduces themselves to new residents, offering support and helping them feel at home.
Transportation Services
We provide transportation to and from doctor appointments within a 15-mile radius on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Wednesdays are reserved for outings, such as visits to museums, shopping, or dining out. We also offer in-house medical, PT, OT, ST, podiatry, and psych services.
Dining Experience
Our dining service is restaurant-style, offering residents a choice between the main menu and an always available menu, which is updated monthly based on resident feedback. This approach ensures a varied and enjoyable dining experience.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
Complaints can be addressed to our nurse, the Community Sales Director, or the Executive Director. We also provide a complaint box for anonymous submissions. Regular check-ins and monthly resident meetings are held to discuss any complaints, needs, or wishes, ensuring a responsive and resident-focused community.
Cost of Living
The cost varies depending on the room rate and level of care required, with assessments conducted by our nurse to determine the appropriate level of care.
Communication with Residents' Families
We maintain open communication with residents' families, tailoring updates to their preferences and holding care plan meetings to discuss any changes in condition or concerns.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer AL Respite at $150 per day with a minimum of 30 days, and MC Respite at $200 per day with a 30-day minimum.
Pet-Friendly Community
Our AL community is pet-friendly, requiring a $500 deposit for residents wishing to bring their pets.
