Overview of Staff and Training
All of our staff go through the required state of Ohio training. Depending on their position and department, they will also go through a 3 day on the floor training with a manager.
Safety and Well-being Measures
Westerville has 24/7 front desk coverage who monitors all cameras, call lights, and emergency needs. Those team members do walking rounds throughout the night to ensure all exit doors remain locked. The front door is locked at 9pm and only those team members at the front desk can allow someone into the community.
Resources and Support for New Residents
Our staff will work with all new residents moving into the community to introduce them to other residents, dining, and activities.
Transportation Services
We offer transportation to residents every Tuesday and Thursday for medical appointments. We offer a weekly shopping trip and outings.
Dining Experience
We offer 2 full-service restaurants in which our guest are able to choose the chef's special or order directly from our seasonal menu.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
These concerns go to the department Director and will be investigated by that Director. Once completed, it will come to me as the Executive Director for review and corrective plan.
Cost of Living
This depends on many factors. Independent Living, Assisted Living, or Memory Care. We offer studio, 1 bed, and 2 bed apartments.
Communication with Residents' Families
This would depend on where those residents live. In Independent Living, we communicate with the resident themselves. In Assisted Living, we communicate with both resident and POA, in MC we communicate with the POA on file.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We do not offer respite or short term stays, however, our lease terms are on a month-to-month basis.
Pet-Friendly Community
We absolutely allow Dogs and Cats on property.
Waitlist Information
We do have a waitlist for certain style apartments. This is something we could address during a tour.
Covid and Flu Vaccinations
We offer a flu and Covid clinic onsite twice a year.
Aging in Place
Yes, as we offer IL, AL, and MC options.
