This place is better then the county hospital people here are kind and considerate, they seem to care, there is not a lot of call lights lit at this place cause one is usually answered pretty quickly. The only negative thing is shower days are only twice a week and when someone has a rash they may need baths more due to medicine and cream building up and to help get rid of the dry itchy skin so it doesn't get worse. The food is very good and you can ask for seconds, for what it is I was surprised that this placeWas so nice! I've heard a lot of rumors about places like this, none of that shit applies here! I would recommend this place
We have patients come to this facility. The rehab team is amazing. The social worker Tori rocks! The admission team is very friendly, informative and knowledgeable! Many of our patients gaining their independence back! I would highly recommend anyone whose loved one is finding a rehab to check out this place!
I just got married here. My in-laws have been here for the past few months. Â The staff has been nothing but truly amazing! Â They went out of their way to help us with our special day. Â Even painted walls and changed curtains! Â People are quick to judge when something happens that no one has control over. We've spent days on end at this place and have gotten to meet the most caring people. I know I already said this but when I tell you they are truly amazing I really mean it!! Â Keep up the good work!
Well I don't no where to start, I was brought to this place as of blood clots in my legs. I feel like these people are very Unprofessional. Even talked with administrator an he did nothing. So under staffed an the nurses they do have are to over worked to even do there job, well the ones that work.Nurses hang out in hallways laughing an joking so loud all hours of the night an you can't even sleep. Not the ones that sit in the hallways laughing an joking an playing on there phones for hours even while the buzzers are going off. The doors here are not for the handicap, they are so hard to get into when your in a wheelchair. Hurt my shoulder an hands so much trying to get in an out. If you want to go outside in the back it's horrible the ground has missing boards so you get stuck an there's no way to call for help, they have dirty beds an supply's all over that you have to be careful you don't trip.I got stuck an had to hold onto a pole when I could hardly stand an got my wheelchair out of hole. The door to going outside it absolutely so hard to hold an get in with a wheelchair or cane. That's why everybody is confined to staying in. Since I been here there are only two others that are able to get out. So no one gets to see the outside at all. The Social workers are horrible they treat you so wrong, I was helping my room mate when this one came in an said not to help her an I was out of here on the 11th very rude. I talked to the administrator an nothing was done. She said she talks to all her residents all the time, well never once came in my room for me nor my room mate that asked for her for over a week. The therapy is really great  here an very nice, but even they are doing the nurses jobs by dressing taking to bathrooms an so on. Not fair when they have a lot of work themselves. I am hoping things change here, but haven't seen it yet been here for 29 days. The yelling every night by other residents, the not paying attention or even giving time to take outside for even 5 minutes. Even 2 people passed away while I was here. Hearing about a lady falling in her room on her face caus she was trying to get her glasses. This place is so understaffed that it's very scary. I do not recommend this place at all. Unless there's a change. I don't see 3 nurses with over 92 patients getting things done, Especially on the one side that the people that live here they are so needy. My release date of Jan 19 th so therapist put in for my cane around 12th. So then I asked my therapist to go make sure my cane is coming today as of I'm leaving tomorrow an tomorrow is a Saturday an no one will be here, so she does an social worker said that it wasn't written down, an my therapist said yes it was an even went over it with patient, finally she sees it an says oh ok don't worry if I have to I'll be here tomorrow to get it to her. These social workers don't have it together at all nothing but problems an attitudes with them. My therapist said don't worry Rhonda I will leave one of ours with you an you can get it back to us when you can if they don't get it for you. I've gone through so much  frustration That it was hard to focus on myself other than worrying about how that I was going to be treated by these social workers, Don't think being here we should have to worry and think of how they're going to treat us while we're here. We're supposed to be here to get better not to go through what I've gone through. I really think someone should go through this place and help them out because they need a lot of help very understaffed and that's not a good thing when we rely on them. And they really need a social worker that cares and has respect for their patients. So now the Social worker told my therapist that there not going to have my cane ready when I leave as if she didn't put it in on time. This is just crazy.Oh an the food is just horrible either under cooked or not cooked at all. Got home an nurse came an said she got no order for a cane. Really!
I give Washington Rehab 1 star since I can't give them 00; my mother was here after suffering a stroke. I wanted her close to my home but this place was not a good choice. PT was good, the nurses need better training & the doctor was no better. My mother had a feeding tube which became infected but the in charge Doctor thought nothing of it. The nurse called him on a Sunday morning & he showed up Monday afternoon; when she was admitted back into the hospital there was a bed sore on her bottom you wouldn't believe. This is not a place to put your love one in especially if you love them & they can't speak for themselves. After she passed I went to pick up her belongings & someone else things were mixed with hers & some of her things were missing (her name was in her belongings). These people are over paid for the service they render, there was maybe two nurses other than physical therapist that were good.
May03/06/14I am writing this review so other people who might consider this rehab will have a true picture of what they are getting into.My mom went to this rehab after her knee replacement surgery last January. The rehab staff were helpful, her PT & OT & the CNA s very attentive & caring. However, on the 6th day of her stay at this rehab, my mom started to have shortness of breath, feeling light headed & she thought she was going to faint after her PT exercises that morning. As our routine, we visit our mom after work which is about 6 at night. She remained to feel the same, we were constantly asking the nurse what could have been wrong, because she was fine the previous days. The nurse kept assuring us that she will be fine & being the nurse, she says she feels comfortable with our mom staying there that night & not going to the ER. This was around 10:00 p.m. when we heard wheezing sounds from our mom s breathing & my sister who is a nurse but lives out of town heard our mom s breathing on the phone & just decided to have her be taken to the E.R. It was not until midnight that our mom was taken to Eden Hospital. There, they found out through scan that our mom has PULMONARY EMBOLISM! That could have been FATAL, had we listened to the nurse at Washington Care Rehab! This is a lesson that we do not wish anyone to go through. The nurse LACK the clinical judgement & skills to handle post surgery cases.I m not generalizing this but the nurse who was the charge staff that evening really did a very POOR clinical judgement that could have have been FATAL. Please do not ignore this review!
The management act like they own the facility. Before pandemic happened,my uncle was admitted here. I went to visit him. the management people came out from the kitchen with a cart with food on a caserole. I guess they cooked in the kitchen and use the cookware. Is that allowed to nursing facilities? They went inside a office. The rest of the people went inside.... talking/speaking togolog and very loud. In the afternoon,I was on my way to my car and I saw these two guys behind the kitchen there smoking and has been there the time I went inside to visit... they were there for an hour... bad place. Does not recommend. My uncle said he wait long time to get help.many call lights were on and staff passed by and ignore the lights. I asked this lady (light skin, chubby heavy weight) a question and she was very rude and kept on walking. Im glad my uncle not here no more.
We have patients come to this facility. The rehab team is amazing. The social worker Tori rocks! The admission team is very friendly, informative and knowledgeable! Many of our patients gaining their independence back! I would highly recommend anyone whose loved one is finding a rehab to check out this place!
I had the unfortunate pleasure of staying here for 3 weeks. Pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, friendliness and professionalism of the support staff and several of the CNA's. The therapy department was great in getting me back on feet and able to come home with minimal care. My overall experience here was very positive and if I had to return I would.
Do not even think about putting your loved one in this facility...Tori the social worker is the most rudest person doesn't do her job at all..Doesn't know how to guide through things at all...she'll walk away from you while talking to her NEVER has time to have a meeting with you or even talk on the phone with you..SHE'S A LIAR saying one thing and blaming the patient saying things that were NEVER said...if you want answers for your loved one and want to know exactly what's going on like every family doe's this is NOTTTT the facility...Roselyn is just as bad I'm so surprised this place is still open🤬
