We were faced with the difficult decision of finding a skilled nursing facility for our daughter Neha. Â She had many challenges - Trisomy 18, colostomy, and she had just been hospitalized with a small bowel obstruction. Â Since she was on Medical, our choices were limited. Â Plus, our daughter was going to need hospice support.Charli worked with us, the hospital transferring Neha, and the hospice company on a Sunday to work out the details. Â Neha was admitted on a late Sunday evening. We told them the kind of room we preferred, and they found us one as soon as there was availability. Â Neha passed away after a week, but we found the staff at Vista to be very supportive and compassionate. Â Starting with Charli, everyone understood the concept of service. Â We had complete access to Neha, and the staff followed our instructions closely. Â We must make special mention of the people who were so helpful and dedicated - Charli, Kelly, Shim and Jenny. The facility is an older one but they keep it clean. Â Also, it is up in the hills and the patients can sit out in the adjoining patio that gets the sun and breeze. Â Our darling daughter passed away peacefully without any discomfort. Â Our thanks and everlasting gratitude to the team at Vista.Piyush and Smeeta
My family was faced with having to place my Sister-in-law into Hospice care. It was not an easy decision. We were limited to Medi Cal so our options were very narrow. We selected a Hospice provider and they assured us Concepcion would be taken care of at Vista. I contacted Vista directly because their online reviews were not the best but however after speaking with Charlie I immediately felt at ease. During her stay the entire staff made sure that the family had total access. The nursing staff was awesome, they ensured our beloved Concepcion was comfortable at ALL times. They turned her frequently but most important, they followed her exact wishes. To the entire staff at Vista, from my family to yours, THANK YOU for your professionalism, kindness and a desire to make this entire end of life experience as easy as possible. THANK YOU!Larry Arnone
Well, where to begin...the Administrator is very nice and will tell you whatever is appropriate to appease you. Â My friend passed away here after about a week and a half or two weeks. Â Instead of giving my brother her things when she passed or called the next day to say they were ready for pick up we heard nothing. Â After a week or so he went up to pick up her pajamas and pictures. Â He had taken two new pajamas to her along with her favorites. Â The new ones were no where to be found. Â Sara, the administrator said that she looked in both of the rooms that my friend had occupied; they were not there; nor were they in the laundry. Â She offered to reimburse us, but then asked for receipts so she could justify the same. Â I did not have the receipts and told her to expense it under "staff theft"...just be careful your loved ones things shold not be stolen and there should be more accountability there.
I DEFIANTLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. The inside looks completely different than the pictures. Garbage cans with flies in patients rooms, no air circulation, just horrible. I definitely was fooled by the pictures and people there. It's very dirty, with lots of damage along walls and doors. This place should be shut down!Management , and staff is horrible, very unprofessional and unsympathetic. I wouldn't even give it any stars but I have to in order to post.
Very nice views  great CNAs and LVN's . Activities PT OT  REMODELLING will look good when finished over all 3 would been four but I find it was too hot in side like 75drgress  if you want a great bride very nice Nurses and therapist get you moving was there better part of three weeks and food was well hospital food so I shouldn't complain over all I'd go back if I had to
I was transferred here form the hospital, to Acute rehab. I can not walk, there for need special equipment for my special needs. I don't consider myself a picky person, but in this case, I was horrified! This place is so old looking with no air conditioning. All doors had to remain open due to the heat. There where a lot of patients with dementia roaming around with no supervision (really sad). My roommate kept yelling for help and no one came. I had to yell for help, as there are no phones in the room and no cell phone service. The bathrooms are not handicap accessible. When I asked about how I can use the restroom, I was told there where no equipment. Â When my family got there, they got me out of there as fast as they could. Please DO NOT let anyone stay here! This place should be closed down.
It is not clean. Holes in the sheets. If you have to use the bed pan and u ring the botton it takes at least 15 minutes to come and when they do come you have already had an zccident and they say they would be right back after they finish their rounds waited an hour in bowel movement. Can yiu image if a patient fall or have any other difficulty they would be dead brfore anyone arrive
If you have a loved one here and/or someone who has died there make sure you take anything valuable or important to you when you leave. The staff is not to be trusted. My friend died there two weeks ago Monday and they did not have her things ready for us to take. Said they would call the next day or so, they did not. When my brother went up to get her stuff the two sets of NEW pajamas he had taken her were no place to be found. I spoke with Sara the administrator and she could not find them either, offed to reimburse only if I had the receipt so she could document it...$50...I told her to enter it under employee theft, but she apparently could not do that or make this right.
