Do you guys currently have a waitlist?

Currently no. New ownership 6/2023 and remodeling and releasing apartments as they become ready. But filling fast!

Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?

We have LVN’s, CNA’s, Medication certified aides, TALA certifies Executive Director. We go through monthly in-service trainings as mandated by the state. (this accounts for hours to those who need continuing education hours) In addition, quarterly we have guest speakers that talk to the Team about age-related topics.

Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?

Assisted Living Residents all are given a security pendant to use. This pendant will locate them within the community anytime they engage it. There are smoke alarms in each apartment and throughout the community. After an assessment is performed, it is determined the intervals the team will check on them. When on an outing, residents are given a name badge with our information on it as well as the direct phone number of the team member who accompanies them. The team member waits for them at the exit door to ensure no one leaves. Activities throughout the day so many team members have eyes on them. In our Memory care, it is a secured community in AL according to Texas law. Residents have their right to come and go.

Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?

We offer a very supportive Team and our Lifestyles 360 Director. Some families opt to hire private sitters to sit with them the first few days, we have those we can refer to families.

Do you offer transportation services for residents?

Yes, we have courtesy transportation within 10 miles after that 3.00 per mile. Transportation to weekly outings. Example: Walmart, local grocery stores, museums, events.

Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?

We have had the same cook for 10+ years. We have weekly and daily menus on a 5-week rotation and if the residents do not care for what is being served we do offer an anytime menu. All home-cooked here in our Kitchen. 3 Hot meals a day and snacks.

What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?

Residents are encouraged to bring their concerns directly to the staff or management for immediate resolution.

What is the cost of living in your community?

Assisted living base rent rates start at 3695.00 then a care and medication management may be assessed after our nurse completes an assessment.

What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?

We do have an open door policy you can call anytime to get an update. Should there be a change the nurse will contact you. We also have a Dr that comes to the community if your loved one or you choose to use, those visits on Thursdays. She can be contacted 24/7. She can order mobile x-ray, lab and have them come to the community. She also is an excellent communicator.

Do you all offer short-term or respite stays?

Yes, In assisted living cost is 99.00 a night (includes care and Medication admin) in Memory care it is 160.00 (all inclusive) 14 day minimum 90 day max.

Are you all a pet-friendly community?

Yes, with a 500.00 pet fee.

Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?

We do hold clinics on site.

Are residents able to age in place?

Yes, as long as they do not need 24/7 MEDICAL care then we refer to Nursing home.
