Wonderful home my Aunt Ethel lived at Villa San Juan Board & Care and love it. I moved my Mom to Villa San Juan Board & Care she too was on hospice care. I NEVER experience negative with the care of our Mom. Doctors gave Mom 6 months to live God gave her GRACE of 18 MONTHS, thanks to the wonderful care and dietary management. I made regular visits to the facility 5 to 7 days a week, day and/or night and was always welcome.I was very involved with my Mom's care communicating with her caregivers, nurse, case worker and the minister. I was always updated about Mother's challenges, health conditions, moods etc. along with Dory giving me emotional support. Us children must stay engaged with our mother's care she deserves the best. I would highly recommend Villa San Juan Board & Care to others.
Do not take ur love ones there.. They will not not notify you when the health of your loved one is declining. If it hadn't been for Hospice notifying me I would have never have known. Then when I called to ask why wasn't I notified she stated" oh there's nothing wrong, she eating but not like she use too" THE REASON IS PLACES THAT DEAL WITH HOSPICE GET PAID REALLY REALLY GOOD MONEY TO HANDLE CLIENTS THAT ARE ON HOSPICE CARE. I THANK GOD I WAS ABLE TO BRING MY LOVED ONE HOME AND SHE PASSED LESS THAN 24HRS LATER. AND I WILL BE REPORTING EVERYTHING I SEEN TO THE SOCIAL SECURITY DEPARTMENT ASAP..The list can go on. Beware of this place. Don't get fooled by the smiles, the sweet talk and the nice house because even SALT LOOKS LIKE SUGAR.. ... If ur loved one takes/ or needs pain medication directed by hospice they won't give it to them, they'll give them Tylenol. My grandmother was in so much pain she was crying these monsters didn't care. Until something was said. Who knows what they do with that medication Probaby sell it like they did with our really nice wheelchair that we brought my Grandmother in on.. They refused to give it back as I insisted I was leaving there with everything my grandmother came with. The owner argued on the phone that hospice would give us one. That's not the point. Of course the owner was no where to be found in person or by phone..PLEASE PLEASE BECAREFUL WITH YOUR LOVED ONES.. I DONT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE..We have an Attorney andThe woman in charge is gonna have to answer to this
