Independent Living Community Overview
We do not have a waitlist at the moment & I have attached our current rates. We are independent living which means we do not have caregivers or nurses on staff. We basically are an apartment building that provides extra services such as three meals a day, weekly housekeeping, and transportation around Petaluma three days a week. We also offer activities, outings, and entertainment. If a resident needed help with medication, bathing, etc., they would hire help from an outside agency. We do have someone at the office 24/7.
Meals and Services
Meals are served in our dining room though you can ask for a meal to be delivered to your apartment (for an extra charge of $5 per meal). Any problems or complaints can be discussed with management and we do our best to resolve the issue to the best of our ability.
Freedom and Family Communication
Residents come and go freely. If something came up that the family should become aware of, we would notify the family of the situation.
Pet Policy and Rentals
We do not offer short-term rentals. We do allow pets; dogs must be under 30 pounds.
Healthcare and Flu Shots
In the past, we have had Kaiser and Safeway come out for flu shots, however, they were not able to make it this past year due to staff shortages. We do try to get someone to come out, but you can always get on our bus and either go to Kaiser or a pharmacy to get your shots.
Aging in Place
Residents can age in place as long as they are safe and able to do so. That would be a discussion between the resident and their family. We do not have a waitlist at the moment & I have attached our current rates.
