Treeo is a modern senior living center. My grandparents moved in here about 3 months ago. There have been many wonderful things about Treeo. It is complete with a gym and they provide two meals a day. The rooms are a little small, but for two people it's plenty. They are two bedroom units complete with a full kitchen, which is important for my grandma. She wants to still cook to feel normal. The place is quite clean always and modern. The staff is amazing. They come and vacuum the rooms and pick up bi weekly. They are always doing fun activities and having parties! I am hugely impressed with how inclusive they are, and how it isn't nearly as depressing as senior living can often be! For what it is nice. I know it's hard to adjust to living in a senior care facility but Treeo has made is pretty seamless. My grandma's main complaint is that they don't get the BYU games there!
This place is shady. Be sure to look at the fine print. If your loved one passes away after catching covid in this facility, they still make you put a 30 day notice in that your loved one is "moving out". They will also require you to pay that 30 day period in full, in person and by check. This policy should change or you should find another reputable independent living facility (there are plenty out there that have empathy). It's pretty sad when the facility says your family member's death was an "unexpected expense" for the facility. Well, next time we will make sure to plan a death so it's not "unexpected" for the company so they don't have to readjust their profit margins. This place reached a new low with this experience. This is a warning to all that are looking to move their loved one(s) here. Pass on this place, until things change.
Some of the staff here aren't super helpful to the residents. When I was there recently, a resident needed help making a phone call and asked the front desk. Both the manager and the lady at the front desk said, "not their problem." Everyone around them was shocked. They ended up helping her but sure made everyone around them feel uncomfortable. Gross Treeo....Gross.
As a delivery driver this is the stop I never want to go too, maryanne at the front desk is always rude, I love delivering packages and helping the elderly get things they need without them having to do anything but it’s ruined because the lady at the desk always gives me attitude, I’m actually sorry for the elderly there who have to deal with her.
I made an appointment to have a tour at the Treeo facility yesterday and felt quite impressed with it. I was shown around by the new Sales Manager who in a short two weeks was quite familiar with the residents who lived there calling them by name. One lady I met invited me in to see her apartment and she’d lived at Treeo for most of the time since it had opened. People appeared very happy here and I was told of the variety of activities that are available to those who are so inclined. I was impressed with the individual units and felt that there was an abundance of ways provided to help each resident create a comfortable home for themselves. I was given a lot of good information to take home to study. If I can work it out I think Treeo will be my choice of a new community to join.
From phone calls, video calls, videos within emails for months I was privileged to be introduced to Treeo. I was so impressed from the various rooms (different views), onsite virtual tours of the entire 'campus' from the dining room to gym facilities, proximity to stores, department, grocery, medical facilities I can't wait to visit Treeo in person. I know I'm leaving out something. I was given such complete information and tours I feel as if I've visited there many times. Thank you to my tour guide.
Sorry Folks.....I wouldn't recommend this place at all! Have had family living there. Tried over and over again to have issues addressed. .... with absolutely no positive results.....Especially with food issues. Breakfast is served from 7 to 10. However, many of these people have a hard time getting down there by then. One morning, at 9:20 food was pretty sparce and the residents wanting the "special" pancakes that were being offered that morning were told..."Sorry, the chef had a meeting , we're not making any more. This is just one example....I could write pages. There is a reason they are offering good deals to get in right now. If you take notice, there are a lot of empty apartments.....There is a reason. There are a lot of unhappy residents. Unfortunately, there are a number of them who don't have someone really looking out for them.
my dad lived here for a few months before he passed away. everyone there is insanely welcoming. they eventually greet you by name and always ask how you're doing. they didnt see my dad at all the last month or so and everytime I'd go to his apartment theyd always stop me and ask how he was doing. he liked his eggs a certain way and everytime wed go down theyd always ask if he wanted his special eggs lol. Jim the general manager was so accommodating and understanding. I loved that place. thank you Guys for takin such good care of my dad in his last months!
At first glance Treeo seemed to be very expensive, but all the perks included in rent eliminated most previous expenses--all utilities, cable, wifi housekeeping, maintenance, shuttle service for group or individual needs, two meals a day . . . There are group activities to choose, but no pressure to be involved. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are things I miss about my previous home, but overall it has been a good move.
My mother-in-law lived at Treeo for over a year, until she needed more care for her dementia. The staff is fantastic, they are always helpful, and try to do the best for the residents of Treeo. They have fun activities and the residents have a great friendship. We really appreciate all the care they gave my mother-in-law. We highly recommend this place to live.
Our experience has been great. The food, staff, trips, entertainment, cleanliness, and interaction have been great. Every question has been answered quickly. Even a medical emergency was handled in a professional and save manner. My mother loves the staff, they call her by name and check on her when they don't see her. She enjoys treating the grandkids to root beer floats on the back patio.
