I love the associates, because they are very kind and helpful. The residents are like family. My family is far away and because of the virus my daughter in Odessa, who just recovered from cancer, cannot visit, so Watermark is my new family. The activities are constant with lots of options. I even teach Bible study and I am an ambassador. I have lived here over a year.
I moved in 7/1/2020. I was little nervous that I lost My Independence.. By the third day I felt at Home. The Staff are Great. . They are so Happy. . They keep an eye on Me. Always making sure that I am happy' They keep my room clean. This is My Home and I am happy I made this Choice I
My mother was one of the original residents in Memory care. We now live in Montana, and I struggled with leaving my mother so far away. Every time I visit (and no one knows when I will be there) my mother is clean, well dressed, well fed, and her hair looks nice. The Memory care area always smells nice (No small feat}, and is such a bright and cheery place. The staff truly cares and that means a lot. Altzheimers is such a long hard goodbye, and I am so glad to have found a place that makes her life and ours just a little bit easier.
I can't express how grateful my family is here in Michigan just knowing how well your Staff provides a comfortable setting and well being of my Parents. Based on my conversations with my Mom & Dad they assure me every time we speak to them that they chose the right place to live and how wonderful it is at your facility. Can't thank you enough!
Watermark is such a well run, premier senior home. This building is top notch with all the amenities. It is so well managed and the staff are incredible. They also offer their seniors onsite Sunday services in the 3rd floor activity room with local Pastors from various local congregations.
While I thought that this would be the perfect place for my mother-in-law after further research. i have found that this place is run by incompetence. They hire felons to work in their housekeeping department! Felons! majority of their staff couldn't pass a drug test if they cheated! I wouldn't trust this place with any one of my loved ones. And for it being such a brand new facility you would think it would be a heck of a lot cleaner! Carpets are dirty and stained. For as much as they charge you would think the decorations would more admirable than just some cheap dollar store tape on decorations. Very disappointed in this facility.
From the beginning of our experience at WAT, we were treated warmly and welcomed into their facility. The staff is exceptional and we especially appreciated the sensitivity and professionalism Wendy, her supervisor and their team displayed. Several months in and my father couldn't be happier, enjoying many of the activities, food and neighbors. Thanks Watermark at Trinity!!
We have known and worked with the sales staff (Rita and Wendy) since before they joined Watermark. They are true top notch professionals who will guide you well. Also, since Watermark at Trinity opened, we have had clients move in and also been called in to assist residents in those rare instances that they needed supplemental assistance. The care has been excellent and the care team has partnered well, truly putting the resident at the center. They have some unique meal time experiences (finger foods for those with dementia that are having a hard time with utensils) and the community is well laid out and upbeat.
From Duck Slough, turn onto Fox Wood Commerce Dr., directly behind the 7-11 to get to The Watermark at Trinity. Watermark has two buildings, 1960 Blue Fox Way, which is the ALF, and 1900 Blue Fox Way, the Independent Living apartments. ALF is on the left, IL is on the right. You can also enter from Trinity Blvd.Edit 8/24/21 - The Watermark at Trinity, both the Assisted Living and Independent Living, is a self pay facility, not to be confused with a nursing home that accepts Medicare and Medicaid. You must have the financial means to become a resident and remain a resident.
What a great place for my wife Jan. The tender and compassionate care she gets from every single personis so reassuring. I know she is always in good care 24/7. I am never worried about her care. We made the right decision, bringing her to a Watermark. It’s a multitude of little things ...staff going above and beyond.Just because they care.
While looking for a long term care facility for my mother-in-law, we loved Watermark the moment we walked through the door. Mom just marked her one-year anniversary. She has settled in wonderfully and has made many new friends. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the food is well balanced, nutritional and who doesn't love happy hour on Fridays. The facility itself is like a 5 star hotel. I would highly recommend Watermark at Trinity to anyone. We count our blessing daily that this is the facility we choose to look after our loved one.
My parents moved into The Watermark at Trinity Assisted Living Facility in August, 2019, prior to Covid-19. My mother had come to need more care than my father could provide by himself at home. They both moved in to a lovely two-bedroom apartment, my mother for the care, and my father to be with his beloved bride of 63 years. We were thoroughly happy with the facility and its staff, who went above and beyond to make every resident feel welcome and loved. My husband and I enjoyed dinner with my parents in the dining room on a number of occasions prior to Covid-19.With the pandemic, came necessary changes to the running of the facility, all with the intention to keep residents safe. I was no longer able to visit my parents in person, so we began visiting via Skype. Eventually, residents were no longer permitted to eat communally in the dining room due to social distancing. Meals were delivered three times a day to the individual apartments, as were snacks and beverages during the day. Was this ideal? No. But we understood that the priority of The Watermark was to keep our loved ones safe.At the beginning of May, when my mother entered her final days, I was notified that I would be permitted to resume in-person visits. The staff knew the importance to my parents and myself, of being present to hold my parents' hands and sharing these finals days together. After my mom passed, I was permitted to continue visiting for an additional week. This allowed me to help my father sort through Mom's things, and make all necessary arrangements. At the end of that week they gently told me that I would no longer be able to visit in person, that we needed to resume the visitation restrictions. We understood that again, this was in the best interest of ALL residents. In the nearly three months since my mother left us, my father has moved next door, into Watermark's brand new Independent Living Facility, where he lives in a lovely one-bedroom apartment, and enjoys chef-created, restaurant quality meals. He also enjoys having the freedom again to come and go, and have visitors. Naturally, precautions are taken, and everyone wears masks and checks temperatures when in the building.I have been extremely happy with the care, service, and quality of The Watermark at Trinity. The folks there love my dad almost as much as I do, which gives me enormous comfort. I would enthusiastically encourage people to look at The Watermark when considering a beautiful place to grow older, while enjoying the fellowship of their peers, and resort-style living.
I moved my mom here and was extremely happy with the care she was receiving. Shannon, Sheila, Angel (med tech) and another aide with a unique name that I cannot remember were AMAZING!The daily activities seemed to be lacking though. If you have a loved one here make sure you take a good look at the activity board but don't say anything to the activity director or you will get attitude.Covid 19 hit - WOW! I was told that face time was set up and every time I called to face time my mom I got a "no one is here to do it", "no one has the device", "no one has the password" to call back tomorrow.I started going to the entrance and asking the receptionist to have a care taker bring my mom to the window. It would happen on some occasions but most of the time that was a difficult task because they always told me they were short staffed. One time, the receptionist had the Med Tech, Mike greet me at the entrance to tell me "it is a circus back there, we are short staffed and your mother is already in bed". I then asked if he could at least open the blinds so I could see her and he just said "NOPE" I told him that he was a horrible person as he walked away. Mike, if you read this, I can only hope you are never put in a position to have a loved one in a memory care facility during a pandemic!I then reported this to Cassidy, (not sure of her title there). I asked if that was acceptable and she said No and would talk to him. She told me that they are not short staffed that by law they are only required to have 2 care takers...Really? 2 care takers per 15/30 residents. Oh and good luck trying to get a hold of her for any concerns, she never answers her phone, her message says she will get back to you with in 24 hours...sometimes she does and sometimes she doesn't.On another occasion, Jessica, the receptionist was assisting another resident's family member at the entrance, looked at me and said 'bring your mom to the window?' I said yes, the woman turned to me and started talking about how awful the whole Covid thing is, guess she wanted an ear to vent to and Jessica came out and said you can not stand there, you need to LEAVE! Really, wow! Horrible attitude Jessica. $5000 a month and you get treated like that, shame on you!I made the decision to move my mom and on move out day they brought her out to me in a wheel chair so sedated that she couldn't even hold her head up and could no longer walk. Brought her to the new facility and they thought she might have been having a stroke because of how slumped over she was. The new ALF informed me that WATERMARK had my mom on 4 physic meds and that is probably why she was in the condition she was in. They sent her to the hospital ruling out a stroke, they did diagnose her with a UTI and now has to be sent to a rehab in hopes to regain strength. Not sure how they are allowed to give 4 different sedatives to a resident. My only guess is because they are short staffed and it was easier. Keep them all sedated in wheelchairs. And no family members can check on them.If you have a loved one that you need to move to an ALF please be careful. Not sure that Watermark is the answer.Shame on you WATERMARK. Start hiring skilled care takers and maybe consider paying them a reasonable salary instead of worrying about the profits. You are in this business to take care of those that took care of us. Do your job. There is so much more that I can write about but the review only allows so many characters. BEWARE!
My father's needs increased over the past year and we began looking for ALF's closer to our home. We have been very pleased with watermark from the first day. All the way from the initial visit to the facility with Jennifer to the caring staff that he sees regularly. He has been there only one month and I can already notice his progress after having onsite exercise, daily activities and prepared meals. This is not even taking in to account the new friends he has made and the social interaction he has regularly. The place is beautiful and it makes my heart happy knowing he is in such a great place.
My mother has been a resident of memory care at Watermark for over two years. I could not be any more happier with her care and the staff. They were very proactive in closing down the facility to visitors, and as such, they have not had a resident effected by the virus. My mother's daily care is looked after and the staff is always available. I have recommended Watermark many times and happy that mother is there.
My mother was a happy resident for over a year and a half. Although the food left much to be desired, and the caring staff was overworked and very stressed, she loved it there and called it her "home". After a fall that did not require a rehabilitation facility, they refused to accept her back from the hospital where she was "under observation", unless I agreed to place her into the more expensive memory care area. I agreed, since I had no other option however, when I agreed, the Director of Nursing said they could not accommodate the move. My mother, the hospital social worker, physician and I were left stranded. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise since she is NOT a candidate for a memory care facility, and is living peacefully and happily with me and my husband in our home.
I live next door to where they have been building watermark. I live in trinity club. I have watch every bit of detailing and structure for two yrs. it's going to be the most beautiful amazing assisted memory care place place . I already made sure my parents put there deposit down. . Don't miss out on this special place . Lisa
