The Watermark at East Hill is an extraordinary place to spend the rest of your retirement years! Staff are dedicated and friendly. The food is outstanding with more choices on the menu than you will find at any other community. An exceptional activities program keeps residents active and engaged. The campus offers all levels of care, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing/rehabilitation. It is THE place to retire!
Have been there many times to visit friends. Staff always friendly. Resident we used to visit w frequently never thought the servings would be big enough for my husband but he was always satisfied. Beef and fish usually good and they often had light ice cream or some other cold desert and light chocolate sauce.
I write this as a 5+ year resident of WEH early in the Pandemic of 2020. That our decision to move into WEH was the correct one has been apparent for some time. But the performance of our staff and the national Watermark organization has been outstanding in these difficult times. Results still count!
The Watermark at East Hill is a beautiful place to live, work and thrive! The residents and staff are welcoming and create an overall positive and peaceful atmosphere. In addition, the location of this community is tucked away in a quiet, woodsy setting far from chaos but close enough to stores which makes it ideal for retirees looking to wind down from their busy lives but still have access to things and places needed outside the community.
The Watermark At East Hill is an amazing retirement community! Our entire staff is dedicated to our residents and families. We are committed and dedicated and we are happy to call our residents family. Our residents thrive and love living at our community! The current residents who live here can attest to the warm and welcoming feeling that they are home as soon as they first step foot into our beautiful community. I highly recommend The Watermark at East Hill. I would move my own relative or loved one to live here. Is was not only nominated Best Place To Work, but it's also the best retirement community to live in!
I can't say enough about this community - from the staff to the services to the active, engaged family of residents...all great. Best of all, with the multiple levels of care from independent living to assisted living and memory care and even on to skilled nursing, this community can be your forever home.
Watermark has always been my first and only recommendation to my loved ones! Between the beautiful community and personable, caring team...Any person that moves to the Watermark is going to feel right at home and thrive there, mark my words! I recommend anyone looking into making a move to check them out.
I had a wonderful first impression of the Watermark. I toured the facility three times. The Villa is a beautiful memory Care facility. I have two friends who had their parents there and spoke so highly of the care they got. It’s clean and homey, with excellent friendly staff. Would not hesitate to have my mom there.
As someone that is very familiar with this community, I find that not only the residents, but the staff are phenomenal. I have seen this community work through tornados and other situations where the unity of the staff comes together even stronger. I would absolutely want my mother to live here. There are tons of programs and lectures. The residents come from all walks of life and love to share their experiences. The community is always spotless and updated apartments are just a bonus.
My wife interviewed for an open position at this facility by the HR supervisor. During this interview she was asked about her church affiliation & religious beliefs. Asked her why she had been a stay at home mom and many other personal questions unrelated to the job. My wife told her that her questions were out of line and had nothing to do with the position and excused herself. No one should be subjected to that sort of treatment for a job.
I have been a resident at Watermark at East Hill for 12 years, and it is my home, can no imagen living anywhere else! I love the very devoted staff, and my fellow residence. They are my friends, and my support system. I have not had to cook in 12 years, or clean my apartment, it is all done for me, which gives me time to follow my interests. Find out for yourself, if you too can make this your home! Leah LInton
