We are working from a wait list in our independent living section
We are staff and train according to the mandates of the Mississippi State Department of Health. We have LPN’s in assisted living, LPN’s and an independent nurse practitioner in memory care, two physicians, two RN’s and numerous LPN’s in our skilled nursing facility. Independent residents provide all of their own medical needs.
Our front desk is staffed 24/7. We are fenced and gated. Best of all we are in the City of Ridgeland, MS with an excellent police department. There is a fire station behind The Orchard and we are totally fire sprinkled. We also have an extensive camera system.
Once a new resident moves in, our activity staff call on them and orientates them to The Orchard and tells them where to go with any questions that they might have.
We take our residents to their doctor’s appointments on Mondays and Wednesday. We go to Kroger and Walmart on Tuesday and Thursday.
We do not contract our kitchen. Our kitchen manager is a well-known caterer in the Jackson area. Please move to The Orchard because of the good food. We have four dining rooms, independent, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing.
We have a maintenance not line for maintenance issues, Betty Burns takes care of accounting issues, and my door is always open to our residents and families.
The attached brochure will give you the various costs.
We do not allow pets.
We had COVID clinic and the first two shots and then the booster. We do not have COVID clinic now as they are not mandated by the Mississippi State Department of Health, and quite frankly do not appear to be very effective.
We do have flu and pneumonia clinics.
The Mississippi State Department of Health does allow our residents to age in place. We are currently working from a waiting list in our independent living section. We have limited availability in the other levels of care.
