Our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, formerly known as Villa Angela Care Center prior to joining the Laurel Health Care Company family of facilities, has been caring for the Greater Columbus community for decades. Our 225-bed facility promotes the highest level of care and quality of life to guests who are with us for short-term respite, rehabilitation or hospice care, or for extended stays.
We pride ourselves on the continuity of care available to our guests of our facility through individualized programs designed to meet their specific needs. We excel at short-term respite and hospice care, as well as short-term rehabilitation. And if you are rehabilitating with us, you can rest assured our therapy team is working with your physician to design a plan that will get you back in the game as quickly as possible.

The Laurels of Walden Park Business Manager Martha G. Admitted that she has not received (only my) email attachments for the last 5 months. Email servers just don’t let attachments go through for only 1 person. If they aren’t receiving emails, what else is wrong at this location. Is it just this location that is not receiving emails with critical information for patients, or is it all locations for this company (Ciena Health Care)? This leads to concerns for all residents/patients and employees if information is not being communicated properly throughout the company. ***Response from the owner*** Hi Anna, Ciena Healthcare (or any of our locations) does not allow external emails to send attachments in emails due to security reasons. If you have a concern with Laurels of Walden Park, please call us directly at (614) 846-5420. The company does allow attachments as the Administrator James Mason has received email attachments as of October 2023. This facility needs investigated as they had me send in my documents via email when admitting my loved one. There are many other issues, this is 2023 and who does not accept email attachments, especially a health care facility.
