Pleasant, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center operated by Ciena Healthcare, provides a safe, home-like setting for our guests just one block from Central Michigan Community Hospital. Our facility offers short-term rehabilitation and nursing services, as well as extended-stay care for individuals who have physical or cognitive limitations.

    The Laurels of Mt. Pleasant’s short-term rehabilitation unit provides up to seven-day-a week services that are customized to guests’ individual needs and performed by licensed therapists. Our rehab guests may choose between private rooms, suites or semi-private rooms based on availability.

    Our long-term guests enjoy ongoing, physician-directed medical care while our staff cultivates the social and emotional tools that help them maintain satisfying, independent lives. Directed by our creed, The Laurel Way of Caring, our staff treats each guest, each day, with the compassion, respect and dignity they deserve.
