Care Program
Individualization of care and service is among The Kensington’s highest priorities.
To accommodate a variety of needs and preferences, The Kensington offers
multiple levels of care options, from light assistance to comprehensive care,
incrementally priced. A nursing assessment will determine the level of assistance
a resident needs with the activities of daily living (ADLs).

Overview of Professional Staff and Training
We have 2 RN’s here seven days a week and LVN’s here 24/7. We also have a Medical Doctor that comes in weekly and many specialists; Podiatrists, Mobile Dentist, Optometrist, Dietitian, and PT/OT/ and Speech Therapists on site.
Safety and Well-being Measures
We have cameras around the community. We also have a Manager on Duty every day until 7-8pm and an Overnight Supervisor who does daily rounds in and outside of the community. Our overnight Supervisor sends out a detailed email of how the night went.
Transition Support Services
We will recommend a Kensington 1:1 Caregiver for the first 72 hours to help with transitioning a resident into the community. It is an additional cost of $47/hr.
Transportation Services
We can provide transportation within 10 miles at no cost. If it exceeds the 10-mile radius, there is an additional cost of $47/hr.
Resident Complaints and Issues
Our Assisted Living Neighborhood has a Director and Supervisor, one of whom is here every day. They can express any complaints or concerns in person.
Cost of Living
There are 3 costs associated with the monthly rent. The 3 costs consist of rent, care, and medication management. The costs all depend on the room you choose and if there are care and medication management. Studios range from $9k-$10k and one-bedroom ranges from $12k-19k.
Communication with Residents' Families
We have a family letter we send out to families of any updates pertaining to the community.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We are not accepting respite stays.
Pet-Friendly Community
We are pet friendly. There is a $500 non-refundable deposit and a $350 care charge.

Yes, we currently have a waitlist for families wanting a specific room. We currently have availability.
