I beg you not to put your loved one in their memory care unit. When your loved one declines, the management will tell you they can no longer care for them and your loved one will be asked to leave. The salesperson is very sweet and will make many, many promises but none of them will be kept. When your loved one requires extra care because they have declined, they will be labeled undesirable and kicked out of the facility. I have witnessed this happen to 7 residents in the last month. The aides are young and inexperienced but try hard. Most of the nurses are very caring. It is the management that is heartless.
