1. Unique Nursing Leadership
We are the only Community in Columbus with a Nurse Practitioner as the Director of Nursing. We also have an RN, LPN’s and Care Partners. We have training Monthly.
2. Safety Features in Apartments
All of our Apartments have call buttons in the bedroom, Living room and bathroom. All assisted Living Residents also wear pendants (Independent has a choose to wear them) and our Memory works on a sensor system. We have nursing and care partner staff 24 hours a day.
3. Resident Acclimation System
Yes, we have a system in place with all departments to get each resident acclimated.
4. Transportation Services
We have transportation 3 days a week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays) 10 miles each direction for drop off is free.
5. Dining Room Hours
Our dining room is open from 8-6, restaurant style.
6. Addressing Resident Complaints
If the Resident has a complaint they would meet with the Executive Director. We have a family email system set up for non-emergency matters. If there is a medical issue the nurse always call the POA right away.
7. Respite Care in Assisted Living
We offer Respite in assisted Living… Min stay of 30 days. $250 a day.
8. Pet Policy
We are a pet friendly Community on a case by case basis. Each Resident has to be able to care for the pet 100% on their own. There is no pets allowed to live in Memory Care.
9. Vaccination Services
Yes, We offer all vaccinations.
10. End-of-Life Care
Our Community can care for Residents till the end. We offer full care… Aging in place in the same apartment may not always be possible. It will depend on the circumstances (memory care, high levels of care). I can explain all of these in more detail when you come for a tour. We are on a waitlist for most apartment styles.
