Cost of Living in Our Community
To provide you with specific information regarding the cost of living in our community, we need more details. Are you inquiring about assisted living or memory care? Additionally, the type of accommodations you are interested in affects the cost. Options include:

Overview of Professional Staff and Training
We have a certified Executive Director, an RN as a Health and Wellness Director, a Certified Dementia Practitioner as a Memory Care Director, many medication technicians, certified nursing assistants as well as dining director, maintenance and housekeeping directors. All of our staff completes specialty training relative to their specialties as well as monthly on-going training in a variety of disciplines.
Safety and Well-being Measures
Regular assessments and detailed, individualized care plans reviewed upon incident or at a 90 day minimum. For memory care, we are key pad protected. We follow all state guidelines and exceed them with our company standards.
Transition Support Services
We provide individual counselors such as myself who are trained in providing education and resources including referrals to resources for downsizing, Medicaid applications, Veteran benefits, advocacy within the hospital or rehabilitation stays. There is a whole host of resources we can provide specific to transitions as well as memory care support and education.
Transportation Services
Yes. We provide programming transportation as well as other services as requested or reserved for medical transport.
Dining Experience
We have chef prepared meals supervised by a nutritionist that are provided in restaurant style dining with daily specials as well as an always available menu of alternatives. Additionally, we hold a monthly food council meeting where residents request additions, deletions or modifications to the menus.
Resident Complaints and Issues
I’ve attached our official grievance policy, but our door is always open. We encourage residents and families to discuss first with the Director of the department the concern is about and/or the Executive Director. Additionally, we have a confidential line for ethics and all other complaints that goes directly to our central support center.
Communication with Residents' Families
We have an open door policy as well as standards on communication to families from the Executive Director and the Health and Wellness Director.
Short-term or Respite Stays
Yes, with a minimum of 30 days and a rate of around $200 per day. The respite rates are due to change any day so I would need an idea of when the respite is expected so I can quote the appropriate rate (not being vague, we are just at he budget change time for the year).

Covid and Flu Vaccinations
We hold vaccination clinics seasonally or as required by state guidelines for Assisted Living.
Aging in Place
That is a complicated answer due to state guidelines, but, yes. The goal is to have residents age in place and utilize all resources available including home health, therapy and hospice or palliative care. Not for all needs, but some specific such as a 2 BR assisted living apartment.
